Although I agree with reviews pointing to the building being ‘tired and in need of decoration’ the parts of the hotel that I saw, including my room & the shared bathroom were very clean. Public transport for Wembley and central London is good, including bus / night bus stop almost right outside. Reception staff were excellent.
Amenities in my room were basic but adequate, including TV and tea / coffee making facilities. A small fridge was a nice touch. Bedding & towels were fresh, and the bed was comfortable. Although clean, the room was in need of decoration and new furnishings.
Although there was some advertising and signage for the bar / restaurant, I had no need to use it but it wasn’t clear if it was open, so that may be worth checking with the property if required.
A shared bathroom is not for everyone, but this is made clear when booking, and is also reflected in the price which is very good value for the location and proximity to Wembley Stadium & Arena. The bathroom was also very clean during my stay. I saw past comments referring to the ‘shower not turning off’, and I did struggle a little as the dial isn’t clear, but I was able to work it so it doesn’t appear to be a major issue.
Despite obvious faults, I would use the hotel again for an overnight visit for Wembley Stadium or Arena, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient good value budget stay.
