Good location Great staff
The hotel is conventionally located for getting around London. Walkable food options and sights. Hotel lobby is very nice but the rooms are small and need updating. The staff if wonderful friendly and knowledgeable. Skip their breakfast and walk to one of the local options.

Excellent location and very good overall Standard room not luxurious but perfectly adequate and excellent value for money given the location of the hotel. Was surprised to find towels that had not been used changed - maybe ask guests if they need clean towels rather than assume. Would also have preferred to see refillable shampoo/body wash containers rather than small single use plastic bottles used.

The hotel is comfortable and a couple of blocks away from the subway entrance. It’s convenient to pay for breakfast along with the room. Breakfast was very nice.

Good hotel at a teasonable price. Very close to Hight Street Kessington underground station. The room are very spacious. The only thing that let the hetel fown was the time it took housekeeping to make up the room. Even though we put the priority make up sign on the door the foom was still not done at 4pm when we returned for our day out, to get ready for the night

It ticks all the boxes. It just needs a bit of tweaking - the room was old and had a stuffy smell, but you can't open windows to air it out, not easy to get to/find the information in the room e.g. when restaurants/cafe are open, the phone had no information on how to call reception or how to book one of the restaurants, the QR code to get to the information is helpful but the page itself is not very clear to use, and when ordering room service through it we got a phone call to confirm the order but it was confusing on what was happening, you also couldn't charge to the room for room service or the restaurants.

Sadly I must say I was very disappointed with the hotel, and maybe last year I stayed in an other millennium hotel, 5 star. This year was a surprise, front reception and halls identical, however the room was a complete let down and definitely not even worth the amount we paid for the room. The room was very tired looking, worn down, bathroom unclean, definitely areas of improvement. I would never want to book at the Tara Copthorne hotel.

I stayed here mid October 2024. Basing this ONLY off the room I stayed in. It was clean and everything was functional as it should be. I wish it was updated and in a little better condition, but I was overall happy with everything I had in my room (The coffee/tea kettle was wonderful and heated up SO FAST!). My main gripe with the room is the King bed was 2 mattresses together with no real top padding so the seam of where the two met together was a bit uncomfortable at times. The staff from the desk to concierge I dealt with was friendly and accommodating. Being able to drop off your luggage after an overnight flight so you can go out and explore the city before you are able to check in is a lifesaver and made life soooo easy my first day. The facility was clean, and super easy to get to the High Street Kensington tube stop. Plenty of shopping, restaurants and convenience stores in the area including in the station. Also a short walk to Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, and very walkable to Notting Hill. I was able to walk up to Notting Hill, amd through Portobello Road, Holland Park, and Kensington all the first day with plenty of time to spare in the late afternoon/evening, so it is a convenient location. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks to the great staff for making things effortless for me 😃

I have to be honest the hotel was completely full and there was a long line waiting for breakfast so gave up waiting. The hotel is now feeling very tired and can’t help but feel the hotel is adopting a stack en high, sell them cheap approach which is reflecting in the tired look of the hotel. Had a very good experience with one of the check in staff but other than that I can’t see myself returning.
