Property is a very nice place to stay, very clean and is in a good neighborhood for waking to the underground, which was about a 5 minute walk. The included daily breakfast was also a great plus! That would give it a 5 out of 5 stars for us, but i have to take away a star because of the banging house keeping door every morning. That was a major downside for us, because we were in room 444, which was right next to the house keeping office. So, first thing every morning we heard the door to the office opening and closing (loud banging sound) . It was really annoying and very loud. It did just happen once or twice. I actually counted the banging 8 times in 5 minutes and it continued all morning. It was waking us up every day. Maybe the hotel could install a rubber bumper that could absorb the banging when the door is closed and advise their housekeeping staff to be more considerate when pulling the door shut.

Free breakfast was terrible. Train or subway tracks were right above the room, so the room was noisy. Room conditions are much older than the web pictures. The building and facilities were quite old and dirty.

There was no safe box in the room. For the safety, we left our wallets in our luggage and put “we are in”sigh out side our door (means we don’t need clean the room). We stayed in 4 nights, and only on the way when we need to pay our taxi driver, we found all our cash in the wallets are gone-a few hundreds English pounds and U.S. dollars. Terrible!! They stole the money in a way we never thought of!!

Positives Staff were very welcoming and friendly Rooms were clean and tidy and well kept Breakfast was awesome Convenient to everything in London with lots of connections to all the sights Negatives Only one here the noise from outside was a lot. If you have an odd numbered room facing the street then expect to get a lot of noise coming in. So see if you can book an even numbered/inside room for a quiet night.

The noise of elevated train was horrible. It repeated every five minutes. Very difficult to sleep at night. I am sure the train tracks were there before some wise guys of the IHG management decided to build the property. Terrible idea to build a hotel so close to the tracks.

An awesome stay
I travelled to Hammersmith for an anime conference and found this hotel not far from the venue. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly and it made my whole experience very smooth and comfortable

Good clean property with decent breakfast in a convenient location. Unfortunately the aircon in our room didn't work. It was reset remotely but it took some hours before maintenance finally announced that it wasn't working at all. A rather hot and uncomfortable night. The manager has kindly agreed a partial refund to be arranged with Expedia
