A lot of road noise on Maple street side at night. But otherwise a great location and great facilities.

Good property in great location Lack of A/C and/or quality opening window meant the room was stuffy as, and when you can’t drink the tap water from the sink it’s a hike to fill a bottle. Every room was boiling so I assume AC isn’t there in most areas

Good for being close to saint pancreas if you have a train early next morning. Close to shops and subway. Easy to check in and out. If I'm to be fussy, the building itself is not of great build quality, as in the windows are not as soundproof as one would expect for double glazing as they do not seem to shut properly and the shower door is a bit worn, but I am used to high building standards and it is definitely good enough for a night and would stay again.

I was in room 1.01 for 1 night this week. Room was immaculately clean. It was as expected - a single bed in a basic room with plenty of power points, a sink, a wardrobe, a chair & desk area. The breakfast was excellent. It was just like a mound , and I didn't even have everything! The scrambled egg was a bit dry but it was still good. Area around felt very safe, even returning at 1am from Wembley. The water from the sink in the bedroom is not drinkable so you have to use a water fountain which is located either on the ground floor or top floor (although I never thought to use the kitchen - the instructions in-room just directed you to the water fountains). The location of the bathroom is not obvious on leaving the room and not well signposted at all. When you look down the corridors, just look for a doorway with a lip at the bottom, like a step. Bathrooms were clean but cramped and very hot and humid. The toilet stalls seemed very close together. I didn't use the shower but there seemed to be quite a few. Would I stay here again? YES. The negatives aren't even really negatives. Everything was very clean, I slept well, ate well, and I felt safe. For a single person, a private room with shared bathroom & breakfast around £50 is an absolute bargain. If you are travelling to Wembley Stadium, I got the Metropolitan line from Great Portland Street and came back on the nº 18 bus, getting off at the bus stop of the same name. A good stay, excellence price.

No shower available. Asked to move room but wasn't permitted. And breakfast advertised to open at 0730 didn’t start until 8pm.

Bear in mind the shared toilets are close together stalls with open tops - so you will be very close to whoever is next to you - male or female. Late at night, I had the pleasant experience of having to walk past in a stall with a man who failed to close the door. In the morning, be prepared to have to hold open the door for people walking out the shower in their towel across the corridor to their room. I understand why the facilities are mixed, it would just be nice if at least there were separate ladies loos so you could have a little more privacy. Luggage storage was closed, but was not forewarned and just told at checkout. Staff were otherwise lovely.

I had a blast during my stay, but, truth be told, my sleep wasn't exactly a dream come true. My room on the 4th floor was cozy, but the shared bathroom door had a flair for drama — it slammed shut with a resounding "BAM" every time someone used it, keeping me wide awake most of the night. A soft-closing feature would've been a game-changer. But aside from that little hiccup, everything else was top-notch. The location was spot-on, the staff were absolute gems, breakfast was a feast, the bed felt like a cloud, and cleanliness was flawless.

Close to campuses and Euston and Kings Cross. Facility/Cleanliness wise I prefer Bankside. Breakfast is decent and filling, even with Italian ham.

Value for money for single traveller
Best value for money if you are a single traveller. 10 min walk distance to Oxford street, many good pubs cafes are around. Quite safe neighbourhood. Clean bedsheets and room. Breakfast was good and included Shower and toilets are at common space and toilets are unisex.

The two ladies on reception were very sweet and welcoming. The room was fine. I did take my own pillow which was a bonus. Unfortunately, the bathroom outside my set of rooms was out of order. The breakfast was amazing, and the lady dishing it up was amazing. I’ve booked stay again

Excellent location for sightseeing in central London. This option of accommodation delivers great value for the solo traveller. The breakfast is really good, and the buffet style means you get to choose both what you want, and how much you want, to eat.

This was a very cheap option on a Saturday night. You are staying in a University dorm, so don't expect a hotel, but it was absolutely fine if you are looking for something clean, cheap and well located, with a generous free breakfast.
