Our stay was amazing. We had a view of the Tower of London and it was beautiful at night. Our room was nice and large for Europe and always cleaned well. They had so many amenities to use while there. I enjoyed the hot tub. The only down side was the food options around the hotel were lacking and we had to travel further or eat in the hotel. Overall wonderful stay.

The staff were not that friendly. The room I had was quite cramped especially the bathroom. The bath was right next to the toilet which was unpleasant when stepping out of the bath. Tower bridge branch is more modern compared to this branch. Wouldn’t stay here again. Also I didn’t receive any vip benefits if there were any.

After confirming our room was available to us at 8AM in the morning and reconfirming at 3pm, we were informed we were being moved to another hotel, miles away and nowhere near where we had booked to stay. Complete bait and switch for this Expedia booking. I will NEVER stay at this hotel or its sister property again and I hope Expedia holds them accountable for refusing to honor a reservation that was fully paid in advance. It was dishonest and handled horribly. Lesson learned.

Poor Air Conditioning and Front Desk Personnel
Checked in 2 hour early for $60. Found the room without air conditioning. The person that checked us in stated that they would send a person to look at the air conditioner but it took him an hour to come. After a half hour he stated he couldn’t get the air conditioner fixed so we needed to get another room. We went downstairs and told the person that we shouldn’t have to pay the additional charge and she stated that yes we did since we checked in early. We stated that it was not comfortable and that we had to go to a different room and didn’t get into that room until after 4 pm. Overall, not a good experience. We went and spoke to customer service later that evening and he gave us $30 back and a free breakfast for my wife and I. We were satisfied with the outcome. We saw another couple come down to state their room was hot as well when speaking to the front desk personnel. The air conditioning must not be working in this hotel and needs to be repaired or replaced. Lobby and dining area was cool but hallways and rooms were hot.

The service was very nice, the breakfast buffet was amazing, the pool and the sauna made the hotel much better! We took one morning off sightseeing just to spend it in the pool, sauna and steam room! The gym was also spacious and had a lot of machines. On the down side, the air conditioning in our room was barely working so we didn’t enjoy the room that much. Also, we booked the executive room thinking it was going to be much much better but for American standards it was pretty small, the shower was also small, the bed was average and the window was not ceiling to floor. If I had to go again I would save the money and book the regular one. If it wasn’t for the room, it would be a 10/10!

Absolutely amazing
My partner and I booked this hotel to spend a day in London celebrating my 30th. When we checked in around 9pm at night, we were extremely lucky to have been upgraded to a suite! It made my day! The hotel smells incredible as you walk in, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from our bedroom overlooking tower bridge and the shard was exceptional. We ordered room service for the bloomer club sandwich and truffle fries and it was tasty. In the morning we checked out at 11am and left our bags behind reception and went to enjoy the spa which also, was gorgeous!! The staff were very attentive whilst we had a cocktail in their bar area outside. Staff were polite, friendly, and professional. We will recommend this hotel to family, friends, and we will stay again in the future.

The location of the hotel is good but the front desk is horrible. First we arrived at 2 and were told we would need to pay 20 extra pounds to have a room at 3. We paid it as we had traveled all night. Then at checkout, we ask to extend until noon and it was agreed. They they called our room 4 times before noon to ask why we’re still there. The female operator sarcastically said “it did not appear that we had an extended reservation”. This was all done despite the hotel agreeing to extend check out an hour. They really need to work on their customer service. It is very poor.

A real treat!
This was my second time staying at Leonardo Royal Hotel / Tower of London—after such a great first experience I was looking forward to coming back, and it didn't disappoint. The staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful, only positive things to say on that front. They were very happy to replenish supplies in our room when we asked, and especially kind to my daughter (who we had brought for her birthday). The room is comfortable and super clean with all the amenities you could hope for. The pool is a real bonus—incredibly clean, spacious, and the spa facilities were a real treat. One of the nicest hotel pools I've been to. Location is fantastic, right beside Tower Hill tube station for getting around the city with ease, and walking distance from many major landmarks. All in all, a wonderful stay!

I just stayed here in December during my last trip to London and it was wonderful! This time around, I booked the same hotel because I loved my experience. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the same experience. Our room wasn’t very clean, it was so underwhelming this time. Checkin experience wasn’t great, checkout was fine.
