The lad on reception was friendly, the bar staff were rude, the rooms are in a bad state, the bathroom was grim.

This hotel is a relic from three decades ago, and it shows in every possible way. The rooms and amenities feel untouched since the 1990s — worn carpets, peeling fixtures, and a general sense of neglect that no amount of surface cleaning can hide. The evening staff could not have been more rude or indifferent; the shift manager spent an eternity dealing with one customer while deliberately ignoring everyone else in line, including me. When finally approached, the attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. The so-called “amenities” are laughable — the soap and shower gel are of the lowest possible quality, leaving my skin uncomfortably dry and irritated. The bathroom itself was barely functional: a broken toilet fitting, a loose towel rail hanging by a visible screw, and a general sense that maintenance hasn’t been done in years. For the outrageous price they charge, this level of decay and incompetence is unacceptable. In an area like Wembley, where there are far cleaner, more modern, and affordable hotels nearby, staying here is a mistake you’ll regret.
