It’s a nice, newer hotel and very clean. The staff is friendly and the services are good. Unfortunately our night was horrible with very limited sleep. At 2:00am the television decided to randomly turn on and wake us all up. We turned it off, but 30 minutes later it turned back on. We took the card out of the slot by the door which should have disabled all switches in the room, but it turned on again, anyway 30 or so minutes later. I called the front desk and they didn’t have answers. After 5 or 6 times we gave up and just covered the screen with towels and tried to sleep.

This property was originally meant to be a premier Inn until it got brought by Maldron , a lot of furniture and the bathroom exactly the same as premier inn. A bit frustrating considering the price of the room per night! Bed was comfy and hotel close to Finsbury park station. Hardly any interaction with staff, when checking out.

Don’t stay in their basement rooms!
I’ve stayed at Maldron before, due to visiting ny student - which is why I booked again. But, very disappointed with the room this time. I was given #4 in the basement, with no window - or rather, it’s a fake window. It was very claustrophobic and I felt like I was in a bunker. At the price of 350 USS per night, I could not believe it. The week prior I stayed in one of Oslo’s top hotels for $150 per night. Maldron is way overpriced for the area it’s in. They claim to be a cheap hotel, but even in NYC standards - where I love a bunker room at $350 is nuts.

A fantastic base for a London weekend. The staff were all helpful, accommodating and very attentive. Lovely breakfast with lots of tasty freshly cooked foods, great choice and nice dining area. Comfy, very warm rooms with plenty of room and everything we needed for our stay. Our only criticism is that after dropping an item that went under the bed we moved the bed to retrieve the item to find a lot of debris liked popped balloons and a few big balls of fluff. The overall cleanliness everywhere else was exceptional though.

Reception was a little slow. Tried to check in at the hubs but had error so ended up having to queue for reception. No notification to say £50 would be held on bank card. Bar was slow to serve. One person serving with one other serving food in restaurant and one filing fridges as opposed to serving about 5 waiting customers! Clean hotel

Enjoyed our stay
The hotel was a great choice for our stay in London. The location was convenient for what we needed. There is a tube station a short distance from the property, and restaurants, markets, and coffee shops are within walking distance. The hotel staff was very polite and checkin/out was quick and easy. The property is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. The only complaint we have is that the showers get quite slippery, as there is gripping on only the middle portion of the shower floor. Our shower door also wouldn’t stay closed causing water to pool on the floor of the bathroom. We would stay at the hotel again.
