Home from home
Really home from home stay. Its not flashy and not pretentious. Comfortable toom and staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble. Its location is ideal. 5 min walk from Hyde Park and another 20 min walk to knightsbrige for the shops, then easy walk up to westminstervand the palace. Paddington station is literaly around the corner if you dont fancy the walk and its on the central line (yellow) and 10 min tube ride to Victoria

A hidden gem that is accessible to all transport links. Okay, it's not a brand-spanking shiney new corporate hotel but it's clean, tidy and the service is excellent in this family-run establishment. A great base for your trip and excellent value for money. This was our second stay, we are already planning out third.

Mitre House is one block from Paddington Station so a great location for exploring London for our week stay. The reception staff were wonderful.... very efficient , welcoming and happy to give information. The building is full of character and well maintained for an older building. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Hot English breakfast was included.

The staff are welcoming and very helpful, bed was very comfortable and room was adequate for our needs. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the tired decor and bathrooms, was a flash back to the 70's, but we would certainly stay there again as the staff are excellent

It was awful. I could touch both sides of the wall at the same time that’s how small it was and I work nights only to be woken up in the morning by housekeepers have a good chat outside my room , yes the one with do not disturb on it. I left a day early and lost me money. It was however good for parking and the breakfast was good

Great Hotel near Paddington Station
The hotel is in a great location, just one block from Paddington Station. The room we had was small and different from the picture, but we were told we could get a larger room for a slight increase in cost. The Hotel is old but has character. The staff is amazing, friendly, and very helpful. It has a great little bar, a full breakfast, and an elevator.

We stayed for two weeks and the room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is located a short walk from Paddington Station for easy access to the underground and the city, plus there are many nice restaurants and coffee shops in the immediate area. Very good value for money. The Mitre House is an older hotel, so be ready for creaking floors, radiator heater, and a small elevator. We would definitely stay there again.

Well kept vintage hotel with a friendly accommodating staff. We enjoyed the plentiful complimentary breakfast. The proximity to Paddington Station made it very convenient to tour the many attractions of London.

Great Hidden Gem
This was a great place to stay. It’s not fancy and the room was a bit small but it was clean and well run. The hotel is in a great location. It’s 1 block from Paddington Station and 2 blocks from Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate Underground station. The neighborhood had lots of eateries, pubs and coffee options. I’ll definitely recommend this place to friends and will stay here again.
