Rooms feel like you are in a dungeon or bunker. Unable to open window otherwise the business office can look into your room. Bed is super comfy. It's a good place to sleep since it's very dark. Stayed on the 2nd floor.

The staff (from the online admin through to the reception and amenities staff) are all always so welcoming and helpful. Can be a little expensive at full rate but they often have offers and then the room rates are are not much more than local chain hotels - who cannot compete with the quality of the offer here nor the fact that you'll also be getting kitchen facilities for the price. I think the extra space and better layouts of the premium studios make them a better choice than the regular studios for little extra cost. Bankside is a brilliant location for access to transport links throughout London (local Thameslink trains to Gatwick, Luton and connections to the Elizabeth Line for Heathrow) as well as the local attractions. Stayed here about half a dozen times now and I have noticed how they ALWAYS quickly respond to readily fixable criticisms and ideas (replacing the stove kettles with electric ones, ensuring there's a combined guide to appliances in the rooms). Love going back, it's like a calm sanctuary amidst all the local hustle and bustle of the local attractions and the river is literally 30 seconds The most comfortable beds, really good blackout curtains and solid thick walls that really add to the quietness of the place

Clean and spacious property. Was convenient for our family with quick access to Borough market. Wish it was closer to underground. Bathrooms were modern and clean - but shower in master got water everywhere b/c there was no glass door.

Room was very modern. Lighting inside the room was odd. Exterior lighting shined brightly into the room. Carpet need to be replaced. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Did not provide different density pillows. Did not provide daily housekeeping (but that was fine with us).

Great location, very spacious accommodations, two bathroom, fabulous staff. Bed springy & hard, bathtub broken, not a lot of natural light. Overall, I recommend if you need a place for a long stay, you can make your own meals, close to public transportation, near the waterfront, walking distance from many restaurants, pubs, & Borough Market, Shakespeare Globe, waterfront walking path.

Beautiful property. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Loved the kitchenette & washer/dryer in room. Shower is very strange as has no curtain or barrier into bathroom, causing lots of water on the floor. Very strange design. Ask for extra towels to mop up floor.

I recently stayed at Native Bankside Hotel in London, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, with a super comfy bed that made for a perfect night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. The shower was fantastic—great water pressure and modern design, making it a refreshing start to each day. The location couldn't be more ideal, right in the heart of Bankside, just steps away from the Thames, Tate Modern, and Shakespeare's Globe. Whether you're in town for sightseeing or business, this hotel offers easy access to everything London has to offer. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Native Bankside for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of modern luxury in London!

This hotel is exactly what we needed. We only stayed a night as a bridge between a work hotel and leaving for Paris. We wanted a place where we could do our laundry but still be tourists and Native Bankside is it! Lots of things are within walking distance - restaurants, Shakespeare's Globe (the current, remade one and the site of the original one), the Tate Modern, and Borough Market! We had a little trouble figuring out the combo washer/dryer as well as the A/C unit but the people at the front desk were friendly and helpful!

Great location! 1 block to river, 1 block to Globe, 4 blocks to Borough Mkt. But quiet block with 2 small cafes. SPACIOUS, clean, good appliances. (Note no cone/filters for pour-over or brew coffee, only French press). Desk staffed until midnight. Very sleek modern spare vibe—not “cozy” but quite functional.
