Lovely older hotel that has been nicely renovated. I ordered lunch at the restaurant and it was the best salmon I have ever had. Great staff. I highly recommend.

Too noisy
Very noisy hotel. Doors slamming all the way through the night. Hardly slept. Room curtains didn’t block out light and there was a security / street light shining in. Also just seen I have been charged twice for the room and a third amount pending. Will now have to take time to sort my refunds out.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel, hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast very poor, undercooked sausage and bacon, awful coffee, lack of choice in pastries, yoghurt etc. Reception insisted on photo ID in arrival, not sure why but uncomfortable providing personal info when booking email should suffice.
