Numerous issues - no accommodation by front staff
4 nights - no electricity one day, no hot water the next, smoke alarm goes off in the room, room is not made up when we return. All we got was ‘sorry’s’.

I always use this hitwl for closeness to the tube , plenty of shops and takeaways... and waitrose, this weekend the hotwl experianced no hot water.. a crack line in the tv and a glass with fingerprints and liquid in it.. i complained and clean fresh cups and glasses.. replace, we still had no hot water on saturday 14th dec, again apologise ... the member of staff was kind enough to upgrade our room to another one... which i was able to get a bath that evening and room credit, however the water was back to tepid by sunday am... no mamager on site and no call back.. the lady on reception dealt with us

Stayed at this property for 2 nights. Right across the street from underground station which is so convenient to get around. Boots and Tesco express right there as well. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Shower was powerful and hot. I will absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is excellent, this is the second time I’m in this hotel. The only bad experience I had was the kitchen, two times (different days) I called them and they said I couldn’t have food, but the hotel says I can order food anytime, the only thing is I have less option, so at this time I was unhappy with this exclusive service.

Hotel is in a great central location and very close to tube station. Very friendly and helpful staff, great buffet breakfast. It's an old building so navigating with large luggage can be difficult. Rooms a bit small, but very clean with all amenities. I'll stay tere on future visits

Always enjoy Vanderbilt; room was great and clean. Breakfast is outstanding (even if the coffee could do with some work). Only drawback - shower needed some maintenance/refurbishment.
