Decent hotel right in the middle of the University of London. Five-minute walk to the British Museum. A/C did not work very well on the top floor. No elevator. Staff was friendly.

Great hotel, close to theatres, transport- train & underground. Ideal for a city break. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was great. Rooms clean & a good size. Was useful to have a microwave & fridge in the room too. Would definitely use again, thank you.

Old and musty hotel in former apartments.
Very old hotel though bathrooms have been renovated. Others have mentioned bedbugs but we throughly checked and didn’t find anything. However they gave us the lowest floor room and it felt like a dungeon and smelled old and musty. Luckily we only booked for one night but I’d never stay here again. Also was damp and had mold on the ceiling.

Nice hotel
I really liked this hotel and thought it was good value for the price. My single room was small but it had two windows looking onto trees and the garden. It even had a little fridge. The staff were all nice, especially the breakfast ones. You order breakfast from a menu, which I prefer to a buffet. It was very well situated for me to walk to Covent Garden and other central London sites, but wasn't noisy at night.

Lovely for short stay
Very clean. Short walk to tube station and Regent’s Park. Loved the little courtyard where you could just sit and enjoy or have a take away. Breakfast was lovely although the breakfast room quite small and cramped.

Lots of positive things, staff were lovely and friendly, the location was good - 15 mins walk to Tottenham court road tube station - and the breakfast was excellent. However, the room was tiny, and absolutely roasting. The shower was very hot even when turned to the lowest setting, which was not good in 28⁰c summer heat.

The bathroom was a bit small but in general this is a great hotel for location to major tourist attractions and within easy walking distance of Euston. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby. I would definitely use this hotel again if I stay in London for an overnight stay.

A lovely stay
Friendly staff on reception, general staff and cleaners seen through stay and at breakfast. Room was comfy and while compact, had more than everything needed. Bathroom was clean with lovely toiletries. Choices at breakfast were good and food was fresh and served fast. Garden area was convenient, with hot drinks available at any time. Quiet area with minimal outside noise through night and morning but still in easy walking distance of anything needed. I had imagined it would be an older building with some areas needing sprucing up a little but overall it exceeded expectation

I'll just start by saying, I have read reviews on this property today on various other websites and when sharing such feedback, that feedback should be used to make change and improvements. Because if this doesn't happen, it makes leaving reviews and opinions a very pointless exercise. So, because Taylor Swift was in the city prices for room rocketed and I did try to find something cheaper. I came across the Regency at what I felt was more reasonable but still £240.00 for one nights stay. Completely overpriced for what we got. I don't care what you pay, you should not expect, peeling and stained wall paper, broken parts of the door, broken glass window and the bottom of the bathroom door was totally chipped and parts missing. It looked like mice had been nibbling it for months but then to realise that there is a bed bug manifestation. I just cannot understand why this keeps being mentioned in reviews even up to yesterday and still nothing done. It explains the mattresses strewed outside!! It simply isn't good enough to take peoples money and do nothing about the issues people keeping repeatedly mentioning. Put some money back into the property to get the issues resolved
