Check-in was a lot, one of our rooms was not ready at 3pm which is standard check-in time. The staff was highly apologetic though. When we got to our room, the pullout sofa did not have any bedding, so we waited for them to bring it up. I also booked the room online and held with one card, but specifically chose to pay at check-in, they ran the card I held the room with which created all kinds of issues. I am still unsure if it has been sorted out. The elevators were always broken, not a huge deal for younger people, but my 70-year mother struggled up and down flights of stairs. Lastly, the hotel has terrible sound insulation. You can hear EVERYTHING in the hallways, outside, etc. Overall, I did not hate the place, but I would say they have some improvements to make in order for me to return or recommend to others.

The stay was overall fine. There were just a few things that were a bit annoying such as for most of the week only 1 elevator was working and that was not fun and a long wait. Elevators were small and slow. There was no plug in the bathroom that i could plug anything into including their hairdryer or (with my convertor) straightner. The last 2 nights we were there the air conditioning didnt work. Some minor things but i really did Love the breakfast. Biggest selection I have ever seen and it was good. Very safe area. Walking distance to 2 underground stations which was convenient. Staff friendly and we slept well, except the last 2 nights. But bed was comfy. I would stay again but would those areas addressed.

Staff was so kind. Gave my child a special treat at check out. Bought bananas at the shop next door when they ran out at breakfast. Walking distance (~half a mile) from a tube station. Great accommodation for traveling families.

We had a two-room suite with a large balcony. The view of the city was amazing and the hotel is in a great location - convenient to Heathrow and Wimbledon (the reason we were there). I spent $1,500 for two nights. For the price, the room was quite small. The real problem was the service or lack of it. I had to ask 3 times of an ice bucket and when I received it there wasn't any ice in it. We were on the 10th floor and the expectation was that we go to the bar for ice - even though I had already been there twice asking for ice. I kept the room clean and washed our dishes and made our bed. When the room attendants came to service the room, they only emptied the trash and left clean towels. However, they did not replace the toilet paper, tissues, or paper towel. I had to call the front desk to replace. I expected more for $1,500!
