Fantastic modern hotel. Super clean. Rooms a bit brutalist with pod style toilet & shower. No open-able windows but AC if that’s your thing. Friendly professional staff. Great breakfast too.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from tube so very convenient. Variety of cafes nearby. Staff are welcoming and check in easy. Rooms are lovely. Bright, modern and clean.

Overall a comfortable stay. My main criticism was the description of rooms . Stayed in a ‘Nest’ room for two nights, then moved to ‘Lovely’ room, which was effectively the same room, but at extra cost. No real explanation. One major issue in both rooms is the bathroom/ toilet facilities, effectively in the same space as the bedroom. I do not see/appreciate the point of having the sink and mirror being in the bathroom. Totally pointless.

I recommend this property for active tourists and business travellers. It offers a clean, safe and efficient space to drop your bags, shower and sleep. Its sits on the Notting Hill thoroughfare, just a stone's throw from Notting Hill Gate Station. Beyond-convenient, with 3 mini grocery stores, a pharmacy, nutrition shop, a bakery and even McDonald's sharing its same block. I stayed in a Cosy room overlooking a residential courtyard. On this side of the property, I enjoyed a quiet room, not catching external or internal noise.

Ruby Zoe is a nice place, but they could be great with a few changes. They don't give you facial towels. The smallest towel you can bathe with is a 16x30-inch hand towel. One of the elevators was out of order each day. They really make it clear they don't want guests to get housekeeping service. They offer a drink to waive your right to have your room cleaned when you check in. EVERY time you ask for housekeeping they pull up your check-in record to verify if you took the drink. Aside from those annoyances, the place is actually nice. The rooms are small, but very efficient in space. They have floor-to-ceiling windows. The shower has an overhead and handheld heads. The rooms have amplifiers - like they're expecting you to connect your instruments to them. I guess they're trying to market to guitarists 🎸 But the best thing Ruby Zoe has going is its location. It's near the Notting Hill Gate tube station, and there are stores, restaurants and bars in walking distance. Holland Park Avenue is a great location for Notting Hill.

Karo, Jan, Julia, and Carolina were great during my stay. They helped me to check in a little earlier, and booking a late checkout was a breeze. I would definitely book here again on my next trip to London!
