What was unique about the property were the long, empty, maze-like corridors with very inadequate signage. The room was ok but no better than any of the Premier Inns at Gatwick at a third of the price. The only people i saw were people like me wandering around lost. And everything looks tired. The hotel is out for your money: would i like to leave my card at the desk for charges like bar, restaurant, spa etc? No, i would not. The only reason I'm staying anywhere near the airport is cos i have an early morning flight. Rubbish VFM. Wish I'd stayed at the Thistle (less than half the price with very good reviews). I think its a hotel for foreigners who seem to like the American style anonimity and soullessness that this place has.

As usual, the lights, the radio, and the TV were hard to work. And why leave only one flannel when there are two guests? Also sorry to see the gift shop no longer sells magazines or newspapers. Still, we keep making reservations here because of the very convenient location and the good restaurant.

Comfortable and well prepared room. Everything functioning correctly and housekeeping timely. Did notice plenty of power & USB connections at desk but nothing near bed, also shower door was so close to the floor it was not possible to have a bath/shower mat placed for exit. Checkout was easy but check-in was delayed / difficult due to many people checking in from a delayed / cancelled flight (United I think); eventually another agent took pity on us after quite a wait. Only used the bar for drinks / food which was acceptable but nothing special.

Very convenient for a flight out of Terminal 5. Hotel and room were clean. The dining room was understaffed on a busy Friday night. The bar doesn’t provide the option to eat - we wanted to have dessert and a glass of wine - in an effort to leave the busy dining room. The spa was underwhelming- minimal staff to be found and the sauna was not working.

Perfect for a morning flight
Just a short walk from T5, the Underground Station and car park. Efficient check in. Porter to take cases to the room and a truly outstanding room with all mod cons. Bed & pillows were unbelievably comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep. Only downside was being unable to raise reception on the phone in the morning to get our bags collected from the room. Would definitely stay here again

The room was so cold and reception would not pick the phone up so I had to go down 3 times to complain that the heater was not working and they did not have a heater ! Verry disappointing they were still trying to fix it at 1am ! In the end I gave up and went to bed

The hotel is connected to Heathrow Terminal 5. That is the reason why we booked it. The lobby and entrance are modern and breathtaking get. The bedroom was very dated. Scratched dark furniture There was a problem with the lighting. The lights kept coming on all night long. I kept trying to phone reception but they only answered my calls once. There was no offer of an electrician coming to fix the problem. We got no slerp
