We booked a Club Room but it appeared to be just a standard double room, there wasn’t anything special about it. So don’t pay the extra if you think you’re getting a ‘nicer’ room, because you’re not. The room was quite dated and definitely in need of refurbishment. When checking-in the member of staff said we would have a beautiful view from our room, there wasn’t anything beautiful about looking out onto a railway track. The trains run right next to the hotel until very late at night and start again early in the morning so if you are wanting a good nights sleep, you won’t get it here. The beds are extremely soft, with even softer pillows - not very comfortable in my opinion. Overall, a rather disappointing stay.

Handy for Chelsea
These are actually two separate hotels in different buildings, both on the Chelsea Football Team campus. I stayed in the Copthorne; A/C control in my room was broken, but breakfast was excellent and the room was large with two double beds. Linen service excellent. Check-in was mono-syllabic and hardly welcoming, but this is a great central location, about 15 minutes walk to West Brompton or Imperial Wharf overground and 5 minutes to Fulham Broadway or the Kings Road.
