The kitchen is a culinary dream with a Rangemaster induction cooker and American fridge freezer. Enjoy meals inside or out, utilize the Kamado BBQ, and relax with a cinema projector and Apple TV. A beautiful home with many upgrades- neighborhood has a negative reputation though
We enjoyed our stay thoroughly; the host, Galya, was responsive and considerate! The home has many modern appliances and amenities, with a local grocery and convenience shop around the corner. Unfortunately, there was no hot tub, as listed, and the neighborhood has a negative reputation. However, we would stay there again because the customer service was excellent and the home amenities were top- notch.

A Beautiful Home and a Perfect Location for Our Stay
This home was perfect for our London visit. It was nicely appointed and included all of the comforts that we expected. The home is in a quiet residential area that is convenient to public transportation. We felt safe walking and exploring in the area during the day and into the evening. For sightseeing, get an Oyster Card for the areas you want to see and hop on a bus, train, or tube. You will find the host to be kind, helpful, and responsive. This property exceeded our expectations and I highly recommend it as a place for your stay in London.

Property is just as described. Host was very easy to communicate with. There is no true air conditioning, but closing the drapes during the day and using the ceiling fans at night helped cool the house immensely. Super cute with everything you need.

The Best!
We stayed four nights and couldn't have been happier. Luxor House is spacious, exquisitely furnished, and equipped with conveniences and appliances we loved. There were five of us, two couples and a single, and we all had private space on different (physical) levels. Having two full bathrooms and an additional half bathroom helped greatly. The house is filled with natural light, and the outdoor space is better than the photos. Our host was terrific, providing information about transportation and the area before we arrived and proactively making sure, a few days ahead of time, that we had the details needed for check-in. When we did arrive, there were cold drinks in the fridge and other goodies. Loughborough Junction is just minutes away, and we were able to take the train from Gatwick airport to Luxor House, and from Luxor House to and from Cambridge. Simply the best!

Location, location, location
This is the perfect property to make as your home base to explore London. The train is a short walk away and links you to the underground or other trains. The neighborhood was quiet. A small grocery store was close. The property was clean and the owners responsive. We enjoyed our visit!

Great house in South London
We enjoyed our stay at this South London townhouse. The house is lovely and the owners thought of everything and has all the supplies you need. It is close to public transportation and very easy access to all the main attractions in London! I would recommend this home!

Lovely home in South London
We stayed at Herne House for a week over the Christmas holidays. Our host went to the trouble of putting up a Christmas tree and decorating for us. It definitely felt like Christmas even thought we were far from home. We were able to get to all the places we wanted to visit with public transit. The Thameslink station was very close by. Buses were even closer, and it was pretty easy to get to the underground. The house is on multiple levels which gives each person a feeling of privacy. There were bathrooms for each of us as well. Stairs could be a problem for those with mobility issues. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were nice. Our host responded to our questions very quickly, and sent us a helpful email with directions to many landmarks. We might have preferred a location that was closer to central London, but it was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood. There was a lovely store a block away with all the groceries we needed. Nice to be away from traffic and tourists.

Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed
For my wife's birthday, we booked here and invited family from around England. We couldn't have been happier. Lots of space (and outdoor too), comfortable bedrooms, very well appointed kitchen. Easy trip up to London Blackfriars on the Loughborough overland train a couple blocks away. Or a 1 click walk to Briton train and tube. The market at Brixton is great with plenty of butchers and fresh vegetables and fruit. There is a great grocery store on the way to the Loughborough train station. Everyone was very impressed.

This property is absolutely fabulous. It was perfect for our family of eight brother, sisters and nieces. Way more amazing than could ever imagine. The Decour was amazing. Very high end antiques. Fabulous art! Everything we needed in the kitchen and plus more. Our host was quick to answer questions and help us with any difficulties we had.

Perfect London Getaway
This was the perfect London Getaway for my family (wife, 5x kids, and mother). There was plenty of room in the house and it was fully stocked (towels, paper towel, toilet paper, bedding, applicances, washer, dryer, etc.). If you are looking for a "Mary Poppins" experience in London this is it! The house is very close to the bus stop and train station. We were able to get to all the normal attractions in London very easily on the bus system with 5 kids. The owner was very responsive to our questions and offered great suggestions on transportation options. I can't recommend this enough for your London Stay!
