This hotel was absolutely top notch. Kudos especially to the concierge Christian as well as the housekeeping staff. The attention to detail was incredible. I can’t wait to return!

Such amazing service
Outstanding service from the hotel staff - they were amazing from check in to leaving. They couldn’t do enough for us. Jerry in particular was so friendly and went over and beyond. Fabulous location and would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Ampersand! The location is excellent and the proximity to the South Kensington tube station and Circle line is incredible. The staff were all kind and welcoming, and our room was lovely. We were fortunate to get upgraded from our booked room class, the room we received was spacious and very comfortable with fun little luxuries like heated bathroom floors and a television in the bathtub. The space and science-related decor in the hotel is beautiful and a fun complement to their teas. The included minibar was so convenient! A small thing but such a nice touch. We would not hesitate to return!

Amazing hotel. Loved everything about it. Many posh hotels charge for every little thing- not so here. Complimentary water, coffee, tea, milk, soda, cookies and popcorn daily. Beautifully clean- smells great and has wonderful toiletries. Excellent, kind staff and ideal location. Literally no complaints whatsoever.

I made a reservation for 2 rooms and requested early check in if possible. I understand if it is not. However we were checked in by 2 different agents and my friend was told her room was vacant and would have priority when cleaned while I would need to wait until 2 pm. My friend headed out but after a rest room visit I spoke up politely that I made the reservation and requested early check in, not her (she doesn t care so much about showering ). We did not need rooms near each other which I said. After I spoke up agent said ok both rooms available at 11:30. I went down to breakfast and when I came up the bellman said he was looking for me as my room was ready. So it worked out but I’d read such good things about the hotel and this left a bad taste in my mouth over their preference for my friend when I booked the hotel for both. Otherwise the stay was great.
