Another Great Stay
Another great stay. Service is great. They even called me the day before to check my arrival time to ensure my room was ready. Room was comfortable and well maintained. Gym in the basement was being renovated, but the rest of the spa was looking great - especially the Turkish bath. Out of all places I've stayed at in it's price range, I would say this is the best. If you aren't looking to spend an arm and a leg at something like The Milestone, you can get a similar experience here.

The building is a lovely old Dame. But I booked a hotel walking distance from The royal Albert hall so I could relax in the beautiful bar the hotel show on the website. Arrived to a horrible smell of damp. The Bar and Spar area had been closed for 1 month. I had no warning of this. The hotel was soulless. The room was nice and beds were comfortable. The shower was so hot and could not be adjusted that we could not use it. Arrived home from the concert and the hotel was half in darkness. We sat in the seating area in the dark for 10 minutes until someone put the light on when they brought us a coffee. This was a special treat for my friend and myself for a special Birthday. I was really not very impressed and would not recommend.

A grand experience!
I adored our stay at the Bentley. Such a grand old hotel with sumptuously comfortable rooms, attentive and professional staff and a delicious Afternoon Tea option. I plan to make the Bentley my London base on future trips.

Filthy and gross like a cheap motel
The rooms are in a terrible condition and filthy. Carpets are terribly stained, curtains are dirty, headboards are stained, shower floor and door are covered in lime/silt, most of the room surfaces were dusty. Housekeeping forgot to service one of the rooms one of the days. 2 towels were stained (not by us), so we put them in the bath to be replaced. Housekeeping simply hung them up without replacing. Used a glass to dissolve some medicine. Housekeeping did not remove it, they just turned it upside down to pretend it was clean. This was all after we complained to management about the state of the rooms. It’s such a pity because the hotel is in a good location and rooms are big, but it feels like you’re staying in a gross motel. The other reviews are too polite when they say that the rooms need a refresh. They need to be completely refurbished!

Beautiful hotel in a quiet area but within 2-3 minute walking distance to underground and shop for essentials (food & drink). Hotel staff very helpful, upgraded us to a king room which was lovely. Towels were luxurious - bath and a shower. Shower had good pressure and was warm. Unfortunately couldn't get spa bath working but that was a minor issue. One small irritant however for me was the bedroom carpet. I could have been doing with a clean as there were a few stains on it. Would definately go back again to this hotel.

Great value hotel in good location
Enjoyable stay, rooms a little on the tired side (and very hot as air con wasn’t working) but staff very good - for a central London hotel it was great value

Hotel was lovely and staff great on check in and stay, service was hugely let down by the breakfast which was cold and inedible as been left in a hot box for to long (the heater the box had then gone off) waitress didn’t seem to care or know what to do. When we asked if there was fresh food we’re eventually bought 4 rashers of bacon despite sending away plates with a full English untouched. Had better breakfast in a Travel lodge. The manager very apologetic afterwards but doubt we will stay there again.

Not worth the price
It was very dated, quite grotty and broken. Plug sockets hanging off the walls, wires hanging loose, dirty walls and shower/bath. Dirty walls and carpet. No bar, although advertised in the brochure in the room. For the price, i would only rate this hotel a 3*. I opted for a bit more expensive luxury a sit was a special occasion and left feeling disappointed.
