Small rooms! Britta water was stale in the bottles in the room! Very hot in the room! No screens on window! Down covers, no options for lighter blanket! Water in shower was hard to figure out for for water!

Stayed one night at the California for convenience as had an early Eurostar to Paris. In my view it is overpriced but just needed a bed. Ideal for transport links but wouldn't pick to stay for a longer break. Couldn't fault the members of staff all very helpful. Construction ongoing outside the hotel but wasn't a problem and even though near Kings Cross relatively peaceful at night.

Close to station but not very good.
Very bad service by all staff. Cannot fit water bottle under the water filter. Stinky toilets no toilet brush. No equipment are upto the mark.
