Disappointing experience for a hotel
The service was horrible. Lost reservation when we arrived, couldn’t get anyone to EVER deliver anyone room (towels, ice, food, anything), room cleaning was always late and required calls. Rooms are very run down. No proper wardrobe or dresser for clothes.

Location of the property was perfect; close to shopping, theater, multiple tube stops, and a lot of restaurants! Some of the staff was great; some of the staff was very indifferent. It was reaaonably priced for a room that accommodated a family of 4 and having a pool was great.

The Dilly was perfect for our needs. We stayed at the Dilly for 4 nights after a week at an Air bnb. This definitely felt like a luxurious stay in comparison. The breakfast was fantastic, make sure to add that on. Location was perfect, we could just walk outside and catch a bus to everywhere we wanted to go. Easy walk or short bus ride to Hyde Park and Green Park. Tons of great shopping on Regent St. And I highly recommend eating at Dishoom! Staff at the Dilly was wonderful and very accommodating. We arrived early and we were able to store on bags with the concierge and we also had a late flight and were able to store our bags after checking out. The gym and the pool were great and provided a nice break from all our sightseeing. Everything was wonderful. I will definitely stay here again when I return to London.

Breakfast is very disappointing, certainly for a 5 star hotel. One lift out of three not working the entire week, making going up or down a lengthy process. Room 610 A/C struggling to cool the room. Bad smell in the minibar fridge.

Loved the character and interior design of the hotel. You can tell they keep their common areas beautifully kept but the room was average and the air conditioning in our room below average. They did bring us a fan to help with the warmth. Service was great. Bed was decent but not the best. Bathroom average but could be updated. In some ways a 5 star hotel while most is closer to 3 star. Not a bad stay but definitely needs improvement.

Superb location. We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the upscale but affordable hotel, The Dilly at Piccadilly Circus. The rooms were comfy and had all the right amenities for a convenient and comfortable stay. The staff go out of their way to make sure you are happy.

The piano bar was superb. The bartender and staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable and nice. The front desk staff and concierge as well. They were very kind and very accommodating. I fell ill my first night, they made sure I was taken care of by helping my husband find everything he needed for me. The location was absolutely perfect. Very much enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at The Dilly, mid July, we found the staff friendly and helpful. The pool and gym area, very good. The rooms are definately tired and in need of TLC but our room was a very good size and clean and neat. The AC was not so good, but it was not too hot, in London, and we were able to leave our window open, for fresh air. I assume The Dilly is undergoing major renos, and the scaffolding outside does not look good.Having said this the location for us was great, short walk to Piccadilly train links, buses at the door to Victoria Station, Fortnum and Mason across the road, The Ritz about a 7 minute walk.

Well, a good hotel but only two lifts working. No evidence of being repaired and no mention of the issue from the hotel management. Most hotels with 5 stars would have informed their guests and had the issue fixed with hours. So poor scores from me

Beautiful lady at the frond desk upgraded our room to the more spacious with two windows that we could open and sleep with a fresh air. I didn’t ask her name, but she was really very beautiful. All the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. We went to the restaurant and it was very pretty and the food was good too. We started there for only 2 nights after the very long flight and most of the time there we were resting and didn’t explore much.

Very disappointed in the lack of repair to the rooms for the price. Ok location is one of the best but room was very tired and the window was completely rotten as was the sides of the shower not good enough for what they charge. Breakfast however was very good with a good selection.

Not a 5 star hotel we wouldn't stay here again
We informed reception that the plug wasn't releasing in the bathroom, the maintenance man came and just took the plug out, so that was it for the rest of our stay no plug. The shower was dreadful no pressure and the water came out at all different angles so wasn't really usable. Unfortunately my wife wasn't very well overnight on the Saturday therefore we wouldn't be using the breakfast we had already booked for on the Sunday morning to be told we don't normally refund breakfast even though we hadn't used it. In quite a few places the carpet is threadbare on the stairs this doesn't warrant a 5 star hotel. Just generally speaking this hotel isn't a five star hotel we have stayed in a number of 5 star hotels and they are so much better than this one.
