Good location
Good location for the royal Albert hall. Stay was let down by house keeping, didn’t service the room at a normal time, turned up at 4:30 pm when we were getting ready to head out. At check out they tried to Add an additional £25 service charge (advised it’s for the staff) which we didn’t pay as we hadn’t received any.

The suites are stunning and well appointed. Only issue in the room is that it took ten minutes for the hot weather in the shower to come through We felt the breakfast was ok but expensive The cocktail bare was excellent as were the staff who go out of their way to help you

The Gore hotel is a lovely, comfortable and classically decorated hotel. Their suites are spacious and luxurious and the staff very attentive. It location is perfect for business or a weekend stay being in wonderful Kensington. Thank you The Gire, will be back.

A mixed bag.
The staff were excellent, however I wasn’t aware that there would be a £25 per night accommodation service charge until I checked in. I’ve never heard of this in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Also a service charge of £10 on the ‘free’ breakfast. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom plumbing questionable. The restaurant was very good and location was excellent for the Royal Albert Hall.
