This is an old hotel. Main window could not be fully closed, so it let cold air to get into the room. As a result, I got sick with a bad cold. Hotel staff was very helpful. They offered us to relocate to a lower-rated room in the basement, which we declined.

The air-conditioning and heat worked well. The room was cleaned daily unless you kept the do not disturb on. The room was fully serviced including replenishment of coffee and cookies which was nice. The staff were always helpful and polite.

Love this hotel — stay here every time we visit London. Perfect neighborhood - so walkable, and close enough to the tube as well. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The location is good. Our room had a very nice and comfortable bed. The shower had excellent water pressure. It was very clean. On the other hand, our room was in the very odd place with stairs, where my husband with his bad knees could barely walk up and down. The receptionist did not ask us if only stairs are ok for us.

Terrible experience. The bed and pillows are awful. I was on the third floor, but the lift broke down while I was there. There was no action by the hotel to inform me or to change me to a room on a lower floor. I had to stay three nights walking up and down the stairs. I will not recommend this place. The location is good, but there are plenty of hotels around.

I had to walk a longer distance than I would have liked to find restaurants and shopping areas. The room and hotel were both clean, but lacked any charm and felt very sterile. The staff was not very friendly upon check in. There was minimal contact. I personally would not stay here again.

For the money it was fair although the bed was like sleeping on a brick. Room was small even though it was a deluxe, no USB points which was disappointing but again for the price we paid for a quick overnight stay, it was fair.

Room 305. Air con not working even though the room was advertised as having air con. The room was right next to the lift which was in use all night. Bed was very uncomfortable, old mattress which dipped in the middle and could feel the springs. We stayed here as we had a family wedding over the weekend. We didn't have the rest we needed for the following day.
