This is a terrific hotel right in the heart of Covent Garden. Although in a noisy area, nothing could be heard in the room itself. The lobby and room was immaculate and the front desk staff immensely helpful and service oriented. All of their restaurant recommendations led us to affordable and quality nearby places; they even managed to snag a last minute reservation for us one night. Pluses were a Brita water tap right in the room and complimentary wine and Prosecco service from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.

It was a two day stopover trip while returning from Edinburgh to London enroute to Dubai. The hotel is awesome very very centrally located. The Trafalgar Square, national museum, Big Ben, underground, easy access to all public transport, eating options for all type of foods, safe and secure, convenience stores all in close proximity. Staff is awesome all of them, a very personalized touch right from check in ,to directions, recommendations, tourist places etc. Being a platinum member a bottle of wine was with compliments. They also Hv free house drinks every evening for their guests. The rooms were nice, spacious and swanky, the bedding was great, free fresh water Brite water in small kitchenette equipped fridge, tea kettle, cone coffee machine with crockery, tea/ coffee / cutlery. Hair dryer/ slippers. All was very awesome and a very comfortable stay. Keep it up !

We had a really wonderful stay! The hotel is clean, new and really well appointed. It was great to have a mini kitchenette too! The staff were truly wonderful - super helpful and kind too. Can’t recommend this hotel enough - we will definitely stay again :)

This hotel is fantastic! I have stayed in a few hotels in London and The Resident beats them all. The staff are so attentive and caring. They are exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The room was a king double and it faced The Strand. The room was wonderfully clean with a modern bathroom and a super soft bed. Even though we were on a busy road, you surprisingly couldn’t hear any traffic noise. My husband and I will be sure to stay here again. It is a hidden gem. Thanks for a great stay.

I don’t hold it against the hotel…but bring earplugs! The Strand is a major road leading to a major gathering place and the noise from that combination can be daunting. We heard sirens go by every night but one…and being on the fifth floor doesn’t help.

We travelled to London over school hols to see a show and sight seeing . The hotel was amazing. Staff were all very professional and friendly going the extra mile with leaving my children welcome balloons in our bedroom . Night time was very quiet and the air conditioning in the bedroom was great with no loud annoying humming . I would highly recommend the Resident hotel

An excellent, ideally located smaller hotel. You’re within walking distance of restaurants, theaters, shops, and pubs (of course pubs, it is London). If you have to go further, or don’t want to walk it, buses and the underground are located nearby. The staff were excellent, friendly, and very helpful. They were always with a smile. Since the hotel is located in a popular area you do hear some people being loud nearby on weekend nights. That’s not the fault of the hotel, they do have a double window which helps keep much of the sound out so it wasn’t unbearable. I would recommend The Resident Covent Garden without hesitation.
