Best location! Food was great! I checked out a bit late and staff was very understanding and didnt charge me extra! But even if this wouldnt have happened i would still rate this the same. Excellent! Definately will be staying again here for my next visit

Excellent older Victorian building, the only drawback was that the hotel was undergoing renovations and not all of the facilities were open. Great central location, easy walk to many attractions.

This is a beautiful historic hotel. We were greeted by Amal at checkin, had booked a standard room and was upgraded to a front view room. We received champagne in our room for our 25th anniversary which was lovely. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. The location of this property can’t be beat, subway so close and walkable to so many things. Our room could have used some updates, was pretty banged up and carpeting wasn’t clean. One morning I was left with a very stained towel to shower with. Next time I would upgrade the room. We would stay here again, had a great holiday.

This was possibly the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff was so friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The concierge arranged for a taxi on our departure that was the perfect size, right on time, and just great service. The high tea was very good and fun. Great location near all of the iconic London locations such as Westminster abbey, big ben, etc. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I have the opportunity.

Had a standard room which was actually larger and nicer than the upgrade room we had another night, some staff can be a bit snooty (and make you feel like you’re a bother) but some are lovely- weekend Brekky doesn’t start til 7am but was late to open and half missing - slow lifts - glad we got a deal as it’s certainly not worth the full price

The staff went out of their way to make me comfortable. I had requested a room with a view . When I arrived very late due to plane delays, there were no rooms with a view left. The next day, they informed me early that they would move me to a room with a view. I went to the National Galley of Art ( walking distance) and was in my new room when I returned. I had a wonderful lunch at 1212.

This hotel is beautiful! The staff are all friendly, efficient, and helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient to several must see London venues and are all very walkable. This is my second time at this hotel and I will definitely be back.

A nice hotel in a great location. Our room was large by London standards and nicely decorated, however the bathroom was in need of refurbishment, some of the grout missing on tiles and the shower door didn't close properly. It didn't spoil our enjoyment, but felt dated in relation to the room. The lobby and common areas are very nice, bar is good and the staff were helpful. We booked to eat in the restaurant there, and were disappointed. The service was poor, with a general feeling of 'Fawlty towers' about it. We were offered several peoples food, and generally it seemed like no one knew what they were doing. The food itself was ok though. Overall a comfortable hotel in a good location, but check out other dining options.

I must insist on saying that this hotel was the most fabulous exciting extra extraordinary. Beginning with the staff and how friendly and caring they were they are very attentive caring and loving I wanted to take them all home with me period especially the front desk hostess Sharon . And the management period they treated us like family and I could not Express to you how great that made us feel we are Americans this was my first trip to Europe I was completely blown away. I have a staff there accommodations the Tour of the hotel the complementary champagne. I couldn't have asked for more or they would have provided it for us we will return in May 2025 thank you so much for the opportunity to to express my gratitude and appreciation to the hotel and it's staff members God bless take care keep smile
