Located in a very central part of town which is surrounded by the worst types of souvenir and tourist trap stuff. Churro cart right outside of front door along with all the smells and busker noise of Leicester Square. Rooms are busted up and carpet is disgusting. Bed not comfortable at all and AC hardly worked. Elevator broken so 1 lift for entire building. When toilet overran, no service available to help sort it out. Service is overwhelmed with issues all the time so nobody can get help. Drinking water in the lobby has dirty glasses 24/7. Really not a good experience at all.

Do not stay here!!! We checked in and went to our room. No air conditioning. System broken down… no advanced notice that the ac was broken. Did not tell us at check in. Windows do not open. Double locked. Put a fan in a 30 degress roasting room. Not good enough!!! Could not find another room as they were fully booked. Second night they moved us to a new room. One elevator was also out of order… the area is nice… that is all good I can say.

Piccadilly on your doorstep
Stayed here for work as only a 10 minute walk to the Office. Staff were friendly but not going out of their way to help and go the extra mile. Bit chaotic at check in as the room key didn't work first time so had to go all the way back down to get a new key. Breakfast there was enough choice and plenty of tables to choose from. Overall a pleasant stay and nothing more than that. Good area to be in the heart of London.

Dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Thistle
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Thistle London Piccadilly. My experience was far from satisfactory due to a series of issues that I encountered. Upon arrival, I was met with rudeness and frustration from your receptionist, Kadija. She repeatedly informed me that the room was not ready and claimed she could not find my reservation. Despite my exhaustion and insistence that my reservation should be present, it was only after I asked for her name that she started to assist me. During my wait, I observed several other guests complaining about various issues, further indicating a lack of proper service. Once we checked in, the issues continued: Cleanliness: The towels in the room were not clean and had hair in between them, which was extremely unhygienic. Room Service: The room service was consistently late, which was inconvenient and disappointing. Phone: The phone in the room did not work, making it difficult to contact the front desk or request any services. Air Conditioner: The air conditioner was non-functional, making the room uncomfortable. Elevator: One of the elevators was out of service, causing delays and inconvenience. These issues collectively made my stay very unpleasant and did not meet the standards expected from your hotel.

First time in London and was very grateful I picked thistle in Piccadilly. Great location. Easy to get to food and tube and buses. The hotel itself was big for the room size and I loved the bathrooms towel heater

Front desk staff were great, explained everything and greeted us with a smile. Room was spacious and everything in the room worked. Very clean. Elevator was a bit slow, but other than that everything else was wonderful.
