My daughter and I just wanted to stick our heads down for the night after a very long day, hitting up all the iconic locations around London. I would suggest that a fan is available within the room as it was a basement stay, and got quite stuffy, but otherwise we are travelling around our own country
Charming, simple, no-frills but clean and well run. Terrible water pressure on upper floors and things like light bulbs and toilets go on the fritz sometimes, but they are usually attentive to fixing those problems. Another problem is that some of the staff are temps who do not speak English well or at all, so they get things wrong sometimes. But the management will always go out of their way to correct issues, which I find to be an important factor.

In need of decorating. Bathroom was not good, loose seat, no plug in the sink and crack in it, shower looked unclean so didn’t use it. Beds were ok. As we only wanted somewhere to sleep for one night this was ‘ok’ but not good for my longer stay. Look for somewhere else!

Good bargain hotel.
Managed to get a free upgrade to a 2 bed double room. Shower was fairly decent, after working out which was the hot tap. Good value hotel for the money. Not too far from Bayswater high street.

Needed one night in a local hotel and Thai one was available ata cheap price but very basic, pretty grubby and nothing to recommend. However I was warm and dry and that’s about as much as I needed at short notice .
The property has bed bugs. We found a casing in the first room and asked to switch and then found 2 live bed bugs on a bed in the second room when checking the corners, one was on the underside of the pillow. We decided to get out of there ASAP so as not to take any home with us, so we checked into a different hotel.
We asked the man on reception for a refund which he adamantly denied he was able to give, and that we would need to contact management (via either email address or actual address in writing). He then tried to get us to stay in a different room again, which we refused.
After emailing the hotel for a refund it has been some weeks and there has been no reply. Honestly not even sure how to get a refund from Expedia as everything seems to direct to a robot over the phone.
Would have been alright staying here, especially for the price but I think it's atrocious to expect anyone to stay in a hotel with bed bugs, let alone neglecting to provide a refund under the circumstances. Would not recommend.
Everything was excellent except the guests next door (54?) were often very noisy, partying and laughing loudly late every night. Their window was open and abutted the same courtyard as mine so there was no way to ignore them.
