Room showed heavy wear with dents in walls, flaking paint, stains, cracks in tub covered with tape. Two story building which was not clear in any photos and this room was on the first floor and could hear every footstep and conversation from neighbors above and in adjacent rooms. This property was rated 9 stars which is laughable and significantly overpriced for what it actually was which is a dump.

Great stay-scary beach siren
I really enjoyed this place! Large, comfortable room with small table and 2 chairs. The take away breakfast burrito with juice, yogurt, muffin was great as we traveled daily. The beach is AMAZING! You can literally drive in the beach as you would a street. Be aware the tide rises VERY quickly. Also, if an alarm sounds at the beach it is either summoning firemen to a fire (I can’t help but wonder why they use cell phones) or someone or some vehicle is in trouble in the water. We couldn’t figure out what was happening so we drenched and buried our fire and ended a beautiful night way early.

The Inn at the Sea is a nice surprise. It's a nice quaint hotel near the beach. The rooms were clean and well appointed. I'm looking forward to coming back.
