OK for one night stopover.
We stayed here on a trip from San Francisco to San Diego - just 1 night. Convenient to hwy 5. The place is a bit run down, clean enough, but not “sparkling”, redeemed because the bed was very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. The walls are very thin, so you can hear your neighbor and highway traffic - bring earplugs! Breakfast was minimal (diy waffles and cereal). Weak coffee, so be prepared to hit up Starbucks.

This was my review on Google. I choose a Days because of the repetition. They are normally clean and inexpensive. I just needed a bed and a shower. I was not expecting this. The staff was great. Friendly and helpful. The property was not the safest. There were some shady characters around. I felt uncomfortable but too tired to make a fuss. The room was unacceptable. Visibly dirty walls, unswept floors, the toilet didn’t look clean. The furniture was beaten up. The walls looked like they hadn’t been painted or cleaned since the 1980’s. I didn’t put my bags on the bed for fear of bed bugs. When I checked the bugs, I found blood on the sheets and the mattress cover was filthy with hair, lint and lords knows what else, looked as if it was never changed. They just kept throwing sheets over it. I requested a refund and left after 4 mins of arrival.

Very convenient location off the freeway. We needed a place to stay for the night since it was raining all day. Perfect, easy to get to.

The room was clean, all the mattresses have covers on them. The shower handle did give us some trouble (it was broken) but we were able to make it work. Overall for the price it’s worth it!

Don't be fooled by the proximity to Six Flags.
The room was aweful. The free breakfast was laughable. It was three cereal containers, all of which held cheerios. The milk and orange juice were just sitting on the counter, they were not iced. The breakfast consist of waffles, cheerios, warm milk, and juice. The walls were filthy, there was hair in one of the beds, eletrical sockets were damaged, towels were worn and rough, the bathrub was horrible to the point that we were not comfortable touching the bottom, so we placed a towel to stand on. The shower curtain had holes in it. The door lock was falling off, the drapes were dirty and damaged from paint, the ceiling was srained and not properly repaired, the air vent was disgusting and broken. I told my family that we will NEVER stay at another Days Inn.

My brothers bday trip
I tried several times to get room service to bring fresh towels and couldn't get a hold of anyone at front desk so I just didn't have any extra towels that is basically my only gripe or I would say take away from my stay there. Also even with a third party entity involved you guys should state that you have a $100 deposit so individuals who only have Limited amount of funds and can't afford the $100 deposit at the time they know ahead of time to bring that deposit or plan for that deposit with the total amount of their stay.

As with so many once functional American motels, the owners have cheaped out on operating costs, and it shows. Beds are comfortable and location is convenient, near the freeway with several good truck stop dining options nearby. However, bath drain was full of other people's hair that swilled round our ankles during showers. Only open floor area was swept, with dust and debris accumulated next to furniture. Hair dryer, main light bulb and telephone (until we reconnected it) didn't work. Faucet, toilet flush and coffee machine leaked. Room was sold as "sleeps 5" but only slept 4, so false advertising with no extra beds available. 3 towels and 1 toilet roll were provided for 5 people upfront.

This was a great place to stay as a single traveler. The front desk employees were very friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. The only downsides to this place were that each day you were there the Wi-Fi password voucher reset so you would have to go to the front desk for a new code. Also, there was a very limited option for breakfast in the morning (Cereal and Waffles).
