Loved the pool. Was frustrating to have to pay an extra $300 in fees when I arrived at the hotel when it was not disclosed before hand.

They sent me information to check in online with a QR code. I get there. I have to re-check in because they don’t use it at that location. I wanna go to the bar to have a drink before I go. It’s supposed to close at midnight I go to the bar at 11:21. It is locked up closed I left something in the lost and found and now last time I was told they keep it for 30 days now I’m told they keep it seven days. They can’t keep their lies straight.

Bring your own padlock if you wanna be secure about hiding your stuff from others. I’m fortunate that nobody in my room went thru my backpack when I was away but the paranoia stayed with me until I got back. Great stay nonetheless

The parking at the hotel is crazy high. Just park up the street and get it for 20 dollars overnight or 12 for daily. Other than that, what can I say. Freehand is mostly a hostel, but as far as hostels go, it's one of the best hostels I've stayed in. There's a rooftop pool and bar. There's a bar on the ground as well. There are food options and other bars right across the street. Overall the stay exceeded my expectations.
