Great hotel in a convenient location
We really enjoyed our stay at the Gateway. The location was convenient to our planned outings. The sun decks had beautiful views and were quiet and secluded. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay here. Very clean, comfortable, and modern. The free breakfast was nice as well. A better selection than I had expected. We were able to borrow beach towels before heading down to the beach. We walked down to the boardwalk one day and took the bus another. Both easy and safe options. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location was great, about 20 minutes away from major attractions. 5 minutes driving from Santa Monica Pier. Room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The free parking was a plus.
