A Great Landing Spot
First time in a hostel and enjoyed the experience. Everyone was friendly and the room was spacious. While I did not use the pool, it was clean and ready for use. The kitchen sink was full of dishes but learn later housekeeping addresses that in the morning. There were 3 refridgerators but, while effecient, were not clean inside. If you don't mind doing a little cleaning, you can get by. The showers and bathrooms were clean. You get towels but no washclothes so bring your own. Parking situation was interesting since you have street parking but "Temporary" signs stated car needed to be moved by 6:30a or be towed. Only one street did not have a sign. I would stay there again.

Not the most secure stay, no screen or blocker on window, false advertisement of personal bathroom, & no space heater. Nice & comfy room but that’s about it, good for emergencies, would be uncomfortable for a long stay.

Unit was not equipped properly, No wash clothes, hand soap or hand towels, just paper towels in the bathroom. No hot water which means no shower! We had to boil water on the stove to wash kitchen utensils. There was a pleated pillow covering (no pillowcase) on the pillows....ugh! Washer & Dryer were right outside our door with two baskets of dirty clothes sitting there the whole time. Oven & icemaker not functioning. When addressing these issues with the owner, they pretty much called us liars saying they checked with their "staff" and they stated the water was hot & there were pillowcases...by the way there was no staff....no one approached us. We ask for a credit on our stay they said NO. Very disappointing. We have stayed in many private accomodations never with this kind of treatment. The common area was a big open area in which sound travels quite loud. We had to ask the other two people there to please lower their voices & laughter at 9pm (quiet time)....they ended up going outside. This would be a great facility for a large family, but individual occupants, not so much.

Thin walls, staff was loud late at night
Walls are super thin and hostel staff themselves did not respect quiet hours and were loud late into the first night of our stay into 1 or 2am. We had terrible sleep and don't recommend. Rest of stay was fine. Easy check in and out. Clean room.

Home away from home vibes
This location was soooo quiet and peaceful we are still day dreaming of our trip two weeks later. Truly was a home away from home vibe. It was so quiet, I was afraid I was listening to my show to loud. There is no tv or radio in the bedroom, but nothing a laptop or phone wouldn't solve.

It was horrible the bed moves across the room and my friend fell down. Just a bed and closet in the room and no lock on the door and the worse part my friend left the room to go to the bathroom and a lady was sitting on the toilet with the door open it’s worth paying an 50 to get a hotel room this place was horrible stayed 20 minutes called and complained but they didn’t care

I called to confirm if it was ok to check in late via phonecall since me and my partner won’t arrive to La driving from Oregon till 3am and the manager said yes. We got to the property and all the lights were off and nobody was there. We were going around La for an hour to find a place to sleep at 4am in the morning because there were no vacancy anywhere. I want my money back
