Modern eco-friendly hotel right on the beach!
We were thrilled with the location - only a 2-lane street across from the beach! It is ultra-modern, despite being opened in 2011. Staff are very helpful and accomodating. The 2-queen-bed room is a bit tight for opening luggage, but the bathroom is great! (Except for no towel drying racks.) The downside at the time we were there, there was no restaurant or bar due to remodeling. On-site valet underground parking is pricey. So many restaurants and bars within easy walking distance! We hope to stay there again!

Great service and staff, especially Ramon, who was especially helpful and attentive. Great pool and hot tub and lovely rooms. The only issue was the construction - which was noisy. The noise and construction workers caused limited access to the pool area and made hanging around our room / pool area less than desirable during the day.

1st it took over 15minutes for my luggage to be brought up. & The man who brought it up did not offer to show me the ins & outs of my room. That there was a luggage rack in the closet , the lights, the front door, the sliding glass door, " the qr code that allows me to order from a menu, the snacks & mini bar were not re stocked. Also im old & I want the old fashioned menu. Because I did not have that I did not order food. & last but not least I called the front desk around 646AM & asked to have someone please come up to my room to help me with luggage etc. ( I carried 1 suitcase, a duffle bag & 2 coats by myself- exhausting!

Great location. V nice staff However hotel is very tired. Whole hotel requires Reno’s including all public spaces and rooms. The beds aged and the flooring in our room was worn out. As soon as it has a facelift I would recommend it as the location is excellent.

This hotel was unique, convenient, and beautiful. The staff was great, our room was beautiful. You are almost directly across from the pier, and shopping is just two blocks away. There is also a lot of restaurants to choose from withing two blocks.

Shore hotel is a very clean, high end property which is located right in front of the beach with a great view; I arrived by car and parking is very expensive, should be validated by the hotel or at least with a discount : not all visitors arrive by plane and take an uber or taxi to the hotel. I stayed on the lower level of the hotel where some construction was going on, and noise started around 8am which disturbed our rest; Overall experience was very good, just wish we knew of the construction beforehand.

Hotel was very nice, well kept. I would have given more stars but they were doing some heavy construction (all very necessary updates) while we were there and it was kind of a bummer. Messy and loud. The staff was over the top friendly which made up for the inconvenience of the construction. The location of this hotel couldn’t be more perfect if you want the full Santa Monica experience, I’d definitely stay here again!! Over all it was pretty great, totally understand how hard it is to update and do construction while operating, the staff did a great job making us feel special. 10/10 for location and view!

We loved this hotel!!!! It was a last minute booking and we checked in about an hour after we reserved it. They greeted us with champagne, valet parking, cucumber infused water, and the friendliest staff ever. The concierge Adriano, whom we met the next morning was a delight! Knowledgeable of the area and amenities, helpful, friendly and a standout among our other concierge experiences. We will be returning in the spring to Santa Monica and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. New restaurant on premises was very good and the recommendations for other eateries in the area were all excellent. Thank you Shore Hotel and staff for a wonderful getaway!
