Check in was routine. However once I found out I was on the first floor I asked if there was anything on a higher floor available because I know that I have very sensitive hearing that is impactful to me. I was told by the person checking me in, that there was no other option but since I was by the courtyard it would be quiet. And the associate didn’t even ask why I may need a different room. So I was subjected to a dusty smelly room near the exit doors on the busy side of the hall. It was not quiet. I didn’t feel safe in my room.

Need a shuttle schedule in hotel description..very
The receptionists were all very helpful and cheerful. Loved being able to pay a lityle extra for a Starbucks breakfast..esp to grab and go early AM This hotel was a VERY pleasant suprise. MY ONLY NEGATIVE..they do not run the airport shuttle after 10pm. I accidentally took a shuttle to another Sonesta. I arrived at 2am only to find it was wrong hotel. The valet arranged a taxi which cost $14 to grt to right hotel. HE said a taxi from airport to right Sonesta would have been $80!! So i guess it worked out. Im not dure i saw shuttle schedule in description..but that shoukd be highlighted. Especially in LA..a 24 city. Very nice hotel otherwise

This hotel is ok if you don't have a choice if you'd only stay for a one night like we did (late check in, early check out). It's really outdated and we didn't feel like it was clean. I've been travelling to LA and this hotel was super pricey compared to the other ones we've been to before. Parking is also way overpriced. We do not recommend at all, sorry.

The hotel details on the website are a little deceiving. The shuttle is available for just certain hours and the restaurant onsite only serves a few morning items and then closes. The room smelled like a wet dog and musty but the bed was comfortable for a short night stay.

This is our go to hotel for when we travel to LA for short trips (2-3 days) and would like to be near the airport. The shuttle is convenient. The walls are a little thin. Either that, or the conference guests they had at the hotel that week were extremely loud.
