Welcome to Malibu 5 Unit II. This masterfully curated complex, aptly named The Malibu 5, is home to a collection of rare and private beachfront units. Re-launched in April 2023 as a joint venture with Fieldtrip Hospitality, you'll find yourself consumed in style, views and unmatched hospitality.

Summer nights and Malibu skies are what can be expected from your private beachfront studio. Located on the lower level of the complex, you'll be captivated by the scent of the waves wafting through the large glass sliding door and into your spacious living area. Featuring high speed internet and a SmartTV, you can stream your favorite shows and movies from the comfort of your plush sofa. Adjacent to the living area is the studio kitchen with upgraded appliances and all you would need to cook a meal and then enjoy it on your private balcony.

Off the kitchen, you have a custom tile bathroom with walk-in rainfall shower, complete with spa quality towels. Enjoy our offering of toiletries or bring along your favorites. Fall into your plush sheets draped on your double bed, while drifting to sleep along with the waves.

Be sure to explore the community deck, featuring fire pits, BBQ, outdoor lounge, outdoor dining, and ENDLESS views. This deck is accessible to all 5 units in the complex. The community deck is accessible 24/7, but quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10pm – 7am.

The Malibu 5 is conveniently located walking distance from the famous “Moonshadows” bar and restaurant - a New American eatery with a large deck overlooking the ocean. For those looking to explore, there is plenty of shopping and restaurants 5 minutes away by car.

Local vacation to listen to the ocean
We live in Ventura County but wanted to spend a few days without our computers, just relaxing and listening to the ocean. This was a perfect setup for a couple! The property is right off PCH with its own parking spot and as the pictures show, is steps from the sand. During high tide the water comes up under the property and in low tide, there is opportunity to hang out on the beach if you want, or enjoy from the balcony. Many properties in Malibu are older but this has been totally renovated and is beautiful. There is a "community deck" directly adjacent but there were only people there for short periods to rinse sand off themselves, even on a holiday weekend. Moonshadows is a great restaurant and is only a few hundred feet away - an quick walk without having to drive anywhere and find parking/valet. The sounds of the waves are ever-present which is exactly what we were looking for, and though you can hear them with all doors closed, did not pose any problems trying to sleep at night. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Very disappointed with our stay. Upon arriving the door to the apartment was wide open and the smell of must was horrible. The windows didn’t close properly and the “paper window treatments” on the window were wet. The slider was very rusted and the place is very loud with the ocean crashing right under the unit. There was a lot of black mold on the shower ceiling and all of the outside pictures were photo shopped to look like a different unit. It just felt very deceiving as we paid a lot of money to stay 3 nights and it was not what was advertised.
