A little disappointing for a Westin property. It has been quite a while that I've stayed at the Westin but this property didn't match up with the quality and prestige that I remember. Beds felt quite old and weren't "heavenly". Also both rooms we had hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. Directly outside the hotel was very nice and welcoming but the area immediately around the hotel was awful. I would feel unsafe walking around at night.

Not unexpected - since it is located next to LAX - but you can hear planes landing & taking off day & night. Otherwise, it was excellent.

Great place to stay by the airport. Nowhere to go around the hotel but the restaurant in the hotel has good food. The elevators did not work well and were very slow, no matter what time of day. I suspect they are going to remodel them soon. I would stay here again if I need to stay near the airport for an overnight stay. But if you are staying in LA for longer I would stay somewhere else closer to a nicer area.

Beautiful room and ambiance! The windows were dirty and elevators wall panels that hold the buttons need to be changed if it can't be cleaned. Beautiful hotel My checkin staff said she will bill me for parking and gave me the pass. Well when I was leaving, it wouldn't let me out. Had to press to call someone, this lady said I was never billed and was snappy with me at the gate when I told her of what the checkin lady said. Staff should be more considerate or communicative with guest and peers.

It was so welcoming and the room were huge. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the bathroom amenities were lovely. The restaurant has THE BEST clam chowder and I just came from a New England cruise and this chowder was just awesome
