This was one of the cheapest alternatives around the area , and even then the price was high for what was paid for . From the beginning we got there parking was almost completely full . Then , once checking in the clerk lets me know that , the room I reserved is not available, and thus got one close to what I had booked . Once getting into the room , I had to use the restroom , I was automatically greeted by a cockroach , that was not the last one we encountered during our two night stay . It was truly not an experience I would embark in ever again . Do not recommend if you are someone who likes cleanliness.

Great location, about a 15 minute walk from Long Beach Convention Center or Alamitos Beach. Relatively inexpensive. Has the basics and the room was clean. Wifi was provided. Check-in/check-out is done by talking to a staff member through a window while you're outside. The room had a noticeable smell that might have been because of paint and/or the building old. The sink was unusually shaped like a box on top of the sink counter and I splashed a lot of water onto the sink counter while using it. The provided tissues were helpful for cleaning it up. Amenities: The room appeared to be renovated with a new flooring, sink, sink counter, mirror, toilet, tabletop and nightstand, and possibly repainted walls. Not everything looked renovated though. The shower wall had some minor damage. Air conditioning panel by window looked old but I didn't try to adjust it. The bed and towels were clean. Soap and shampoo and a box of tissues were provided. There was a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, and clothes hangers. The room had a mini fridge but it was old and not very cold. The motel's small outdoor pool was closed but I didn't plan to use it. I did not use the flatscreen TV.

Loved the balcony ! The area was super convenient. Enjoyed my stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful whenever my key stopped working.definitely staying again here. Just wish it had microwaves for longer stay convenience.
