Hotel is not at all as described in the photos online. We booked a “partial ocean view” and I can assure you it was anything but that. We could see the ocean from 1 window and it was a tiny sliver of it. Our view was of the street and dozens of homeless people all over. Neighborhood is sketchy at night I would not recommend leaving the hotel at all. Overall the description of this hotel and rooms is misleading. Way too overpriced for what you get. Wouldn’t recommend / wouldn’t stay again.

Although not a traditional type of hotel with a lobby, Venice Breezes was a very welcoming place to stay for a week. Great location right on the beach, and amazing views from the rooftop terrace where one can grill a meal and dine overlooking the scene below. Clean room with fridge and freezer, stove and oven to prepare breakfast or lunch, saving money having to go out for every meal. Nice and friendly desk staff that allow you to leave your luggage at the desk after check out for a few hours. Recommended!

Great Location

We had a great stay. This hotel is right in the middle of everything! We loved the location on the beach and the easy walk to Venice or Santa Monica. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. They even offer the guests towels and beach chairs if you would like to go the beach. The rooftop patio was a great place to sit and watch everything from the skatepark to the surfers to the busy walkways.

We liked the kitchen in the unit which was very well equipped, even having a dishwasher. The large windows which let in lots of sunlight was a big bonus. The hotel also has a beautiful roof top patio which has a fabulous view of the Venice Beach board walk and ocean. You can also use the BBQ up there. Staff is very accomodating and the desk is serviced 24/7,

Our suite was lovely. The staff were wonderful. The rofotop patio with outdoor kitchen was excellent and came in handy when we just wanted a "night in." The location is great, very walkable, and right on the beach. My only complaint is that we left too soon.
