Considering this was also a work trip that I needed internet for and lost out on more money than the whole trip cost, I’d say they do their guests a great disservice not notifying them that their internet is out for 10 days prior to their travels and with no fix date in sight. No wifi our entire stay. And almost no cell service here, so forget about upping your data plan. A waste. Also we saw news of some construction but heard it was minimal but instead it was bandsaws and hammering all day every day into the night ours even. We couldn’t even sit at the upper pool & had to stay at the kids pool for some quiet time. Construction echoed all through our room and we couldn’t have the balcony door open. Plus one of two elevators were broken & had to walk 5 flights of stairs constantly. The register at the market were always down and slow to get anything with them hand writing all purchases. We were never given the 1 massage that was suppose to be included either. And the TV reception was bad with constant popups on the screen to advertise some feature on the TV. When we asked for our money back, the hotel said to take it up with Travelocity. And Travelocity said they need to clear it with the hotel. So far we have not yet been refunded. All in all, a miserable experience here. Maybe their customer service can help but so far not at all.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. The property itself was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The pools were spotless, and we enjoyed spending time by the water. The food was good overall—definitely a few standout dishes—but the majority of our meals were satisfying. One thing that became a bit annoying, though, was the process of signing a receipt after each meal or service. It's not that we minded signing; rather, it was the slow pace at which the receipts were provided. It often felt like a small inconvenience, especially after meals, and it did add an unnecessary delay. On a more positive note, we had an incident at the beach (unrelated to the hotel) but were impressed with the staff's quick response. They provided medical support right away and were very helpful in arranging a wheelchair for the remainder of our stay, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and while this did create some noise during the day, it wasn't disruptive at night or near the lower pool and beach areas. It wasn’t ideal on the first day, but it didn’t affect the overall experience too much. We also had a chance to visit the newly opened sports bar, and it was a nice addition to the property. The atmosphere was great, and it was a good spot to relax in the evenings. Overall, we would go back

Room was very loud, could head the people above and conversations in the hall. Microwave didn't work, heat in the room didn't work, and wifi was slow. We could not check in for our flight, I asked if they had a computer to use for this purpose and they did not. The main pool was overcrowded and murky. It was hard to grab a spot by the pool.

The property is very nice, with good food, with limited food options. Carbon grill is awesome. Great service and pool side service. Place was over crowded, pool seats were all take by 6:30AM, people would come and leave things to hold their seats - this needs to be better managed. It was a daily struggle to find chairs by the pool. We loved the 2PM water volleyball game - lots of fun! Due to the over crowding, there were often long lines and wait times for restaurant seats, which was inconvenient at times. The coffee is horrible All in all - I would come to this property again.

The Villa group has always surpassed my expectations. Del Palmar has the best of staff in all areas. You can see the ethics committed to another's vacation experience. They are all truly top-notch people, and it show's! What I like best is the food as I am a "foodie". They have the right mix of variety, and the product is always fresh and plentiful. Just order the Surf and Turf and you will see what I mean. I don't give out compliments easily as they must be earned. The Villa Group has always earned my highest of rankings because they've earned it. Just go, and you'll see what I mean.

The view and the beach were amazing! Outside of the renovation project going on this was a beautiful location!! Would like to see a little more nightlife after 1000pm but all in all a quality place with excellent food and service!!

The concierge service Jose P. was excellent. I requested a room at check-in only to be denied and have it given to the party after me. Resort was under construction, therefore lots of daytime noise and one less food option. There wasn’t pool service for food or drinks. We were with other friends. The decision has been made to go to a different resort next time. The staff is very friendly, but they were overextended and the service was slow.
