While I didn't stay long because of a very late arrival, this room made me wish I did. The hotel is in great shape the room was spacious and modern, and the hand-held showerhead is something I wish all hotels had. The motorized blinds either didn't work, or I could not figure then out, but these are nits. The breakfast staff left the door open for me after closing in case I wanted something else which was very nice of them. You can walk to a bunch of places for food or munchies and it's a short drive to everything else, including fuel and downtown Louisville. The bridge has a toll, so keep that in mind if you're coming from the other side of the river.

Great area, numerous nice bar/restaurants on the riverfront close to hotel. Especially enjoyed walking out across the Ohio river after dark on the Big Four pedestrian bridge! Street musicians and bikers/joggers everywhere! An unexpected treat on a beautiful night. On a side note, breakfast was the absolute best we've ever had and probably due to a very attentiv and able cook/mgr, Joyce ! Kudos to her !

I loved this stay! I'm used to staying in Louisville, but this was such a nice, quiet area. There are many restaurants and shops in walking distance too! Also, the staff were extremely nice. Joyce made breakfast so enjoyable. I will definitely stay here again.
