Fun boutique hotel
I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this hotel is. Valet parking is available. A small coffee shop is adjacent. The roof top bar is fantastic. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to see the speakeasy. Near many restaurants, bars and shops. Plan to spend a few days in the area

Very fun stay!
The staff was so friendly and helpful, from the Front Desk to the Valet. The neighborhood is neat, and the hotel is reflective of its surroundings: arty, interesting, and fun. Very comfortable rooms with black-out shades ( we stayed two different nights coming and going on a road trip, so had two different rooms). Great cafes and shops in the neighborhood, and it is a dew blocks from a running path at the river.

It was nice but, for the amount that you pay for the room, you would think that you would have a complimentary breakfast. But they offered coffee between 5am and 7am. Which is not ideal for everyone.

OPEN THE CLOSET! Cute property with great rooms, rooftop bar is a vibe, licquor and eateries are abundant. Total eye candy. The area was loud on a Saturday night well into midnight/1am but who doesn’t travel with ear plugs? Slept well.

Weekend getaway
Hotel Genevieve has become our go-to favorite place to stay when we visit Louisville. Great vibe, good people, wonderful on-site amenities. Both the speakeasy and the rooftop bar are worth a visit!

Great hotel with a lot of character. Plenty of eating and drinking options on the property and in a great area of town with tons of additional dining and shopping right outside the doors. Would stay here again and recommend it to all travelers.

This hotel had a very creepy feeling. This would not affect everyone. We are so sensitive to this my son and I left and found another hotel in town that was newer. Otherwise, the design was really excellent, staff was very nice. I think the building had some weird vibes. May be great for most people, just really not for us.

Our room wasn’t the cleanest. There were stains on the industrial style carpet. The shower tile and grout was dirty we wore flip flops to shower. There were no blow dryer or iron and ironing board in room. We called front desk to get one brought up. The ice was in a bag in the hallway where you scooped it out. Wasn’t very hygienic we would never have used it. The beds were comfortable but the noise from the alley at night was loud from the patrons coming out of the bar or getting Valet. The blackout shades were awesome. Probably the best thing in the room. The WiFi at this hotel was also non existent. Our expectations were very high for this hotel. We wouldn’t recommend there is a ton of choices in downtown around this hotel that are much more valuable for your dollar spent.
