What is that smell?

This property has great location. We were greeted in the lobby by a pungent, musty odor. Room was Ok except couch cushions were stained and the ceiling dan had dirt hanging off the blades. Better attention to the details and better housekeeping would add a lot of value.

Winter storm of 2025…check in was easy, staff was friendly and was settled in for the night with no issues. Continental breakfast was good and coffee was hot. Room was clean and easily accessible. Would definitely stay again.

Weird smell in the lobby (kind of smelled like rotten eggs???) but no smell in the room. Comfy bed, lots of parking, close to a really good Mexican restaurant. Would recommend!

Wish they could do more….

First room we checked into the front door did not lock at all.after calling down to service desk they quickly assigned us another room. Instructed us to come down and get new key. So yes we dragged our luggage back down stairs just to trade keys and come back to same floor but a few doors down. No big deal at that point in time, I completely understood sometimes you do not have the staff on hand to do real customer service. New room was next door to multiple occupants who yelled and banged on walls all night. I again understand some people enjoy a little extra fun sometimes but yelling and literally banging on walls for hours is in my opinion a little ridiculous. Service desk said wish there was something they could do. We ended up checking out early and even again telling desk that the party next door was still going on and my regrets for other surrounding occupants. Same response they apologized and wish more they could do.

The battery on the fire alarm device was out and the machine started to make loud noises after midnight. We traveled with a baby and she woke up in the middle of the night with all 4 of us. No resting at all before a day of 6 hrs driving. The lady at the reception did not offered any refund because the booking was made via Expedia.

Our little Get-away

My wife and I needed a get-away and found that our stay at Springhill Suites by Marriott was the perfect place. All those who worked there were friendly and responsive.

Maid service was offered every other day. Our beds were made once in a weeks time. The toilet kept clogging and overflowing. Maintenance came to our room once, the repair was not effective. We had to keep going to the front desk for more towels. The employees were very nice however they didn’t seem experienced in customer service.
