Gorgeous property. Easy walk to the Palace to see Ron White. Excellent choice of places to stay for any event there! Loved the piano player through the evening on the 2nd floor.

Weekend in Louisville Historic Hotel
Historic hotel, convenient to downtown Louisville. A couple of highly rated dining spots right on the property. Parking is $30 a day if you choose the parking pass which allows in and out access. You can park for $22 a day if you don’t need access to the car. Room was clean and comfortable. Daily cleaning which is rare these days. Would stay there again.

The Brown Hotel is magical! It’s like staying in a cool old museum, but with modern amenities. The staff is excellent—especially Alex, who checked us in and then cheerfully helped us with several other things! We loved our stay and hope to return soon.

Wonderful customer service!
The staff was amazing! Everyone from valet to check in to bar service was nothing but cordial and welcoming. Made you feel special. It’s an older hotel but well kept. Would stay again!

The bones of The Brown are truly gorgeous. Historic architectural features of stone and marble and wood all speak of a day gone by. The hotel just needs some attention; specifically bedrooms and bathrooms. Our first room had a significant mold smell and when we requested a change they immediately complied with a room on the tenth floor with a beautiful view. We had a very good breakfast in their very impressive buffet. The service was great and the food options were endless. The rooftop area was the most impressive to us as it was a gorgeous day and the space is magical.
