I had a mostly positive stay at Hyatt Place, Austin. The hotel was very clean and neat, with great amenities, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, welcoming us warmly. However, the lack of a microwave and kitchen sink in the room was a downside, especially since I was traveling with family, including small children. We ended up checking out the next day to find a better fit for our needs. Aside from that, everything else was great, and I would recommend it for shorter stays or solo travelers.

It was ok
The shower head was clogged so it dripped on the metal drain the whole shower. Super 1st world problem but it was an irritant. The pressure was very low too. The AC had to be turned down to 67 for the room to be cold

Great hotel for the Cost
We had a great stay. Easy check in with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are big, super clean, and beds are very comfortable. Great location. Close to Lake Travis. I would highly recommend.

Very nice hotel, people were super friendly! Breakfast was a notch above some of the competition. Red velvet waffles - while still the self serve variety - were a surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, larger Samsung TV in the room.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless—easily one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. While the breakfast area was a bit small and the selection of food limited, the quality more than made up for it. The scrambled eggs and all the other dishes were served warm and tasted fresh and delicious. It was definitely better than most hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great service and attention to detail

This hotel was clean, safe and had very comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and very attentive. It’s about 20 minutes from Downtown Austin, 15 minutes to The Domain. There was a CVS right next door, an H-E-B and Target across the street. I would definitely stay here again.

Not what I envisioned from my Reservation
When I booked room through Hotels.com I booked a high room. Well if you can say the 2nd floor is a high room then hotel.com, the hotel it's self, and my version of a high room are not the same. Also the shower had no water pressure. Very light. The hotel smelled fresh and was kept up. Not much of a variety on the hotel breakfast as well.

A hidden gem. Extremely clean and well maintained hotel. Bar area was a welcome option. Breakfast that was provided exceeded expectations. Close to the Oasis Restaurant / Sunset Dinner overlooking the lake. An exceptional value as well in comparison to other hotels / options in the area.
