This is a really nice country hotel, clean and comfortable and friendly. The rooms are comfortably Scandanavian, with a small sitting room separated from the bedroom by an efficiency kitchen and the bathroom. The entry door opens to an open hallway with a coat rack, and off the bedroom is a small patio with a table and chairs overlooking a back lawn including a hammock strung between two trees. The kitchen is functional with a small refrigerator and a stovetop, but if you plan to cook bring your own pots and cooking utensils. There is a kettle for boiling water but no coffee maker and no microwave. But hopefully you won't be cooking- the hotel has a superb restaurant with an extensive upscale dinner menu. Breakfast is gratis and is a smorgasbord with cheese, fruit, yogurt, granola, rolls, hardboiled eggs, and the most incredible homemade bread I've had in europe. And they don't mind if you make a cheese sandwich for lunch later. The dining room is comfortable and it opens onto a patio with tables and chairs outside, which is super if the weather is good. They also will provide a bicycle or two for your stay, which is exceptional, the island is eminently bikeable (everyone bikes) because it's flat and small.
A few caveats: 1) If you drink decaf coffee bring your own, as is the case all over Denmark, decaf is rare. 2) To make a full size bed they push two twins together. this is not ideal, ask for a room with a regular queen or full if that's what you want.
