A first...

We arrived at 3 p.m. & was asked why I needed a handicap accessible room. Though shocked by having to explain why there was a need for such a room, I did explain why. Then I was told they didn't have any ready at this time, but should have one ready in 30 minutes or so & I was welcome to wait in the seating/breakfast area. About 30 minutes later, I did get my handicap accessible room. The room was spacious & had a roll-in shower.

There were several things wrong when we got to the room. No TV remote (2 TV's) Someone had used the commode and didn't flush. We had no wash clothes. We have stayed before and this was a bit unusual.

Great price, great room, great stay

We always try to stay here when we visit Lubbock. The location is perfect and the rooms are always clean. And so far the staff have all been very nice.

Subpar

Put me in a weird attached first floor room outside the hotel by the rear parking. There were vagrants out back. The room was sprayed with something and I couldn’t breathe. I tried to air it out by opening the window, when I realized the large sliding window didn’t lock and it was at ground level. I got a migraine from the spray and asked front desk to cancel my stay. The front desk was nice and explained they spray KILZ in the room. I got a refund, so they made it right.

I stayed just to sleep overnight. The hotel is old. The room was not very clean (dirt on the bathroom door). The room didn't have the light switch working. Bathroom had black mold on the ceiling.
