If you enjoy such a historical setting with brick buildings, then you will like this charmingly and practically furnished holiday apartment.

Maisonette holiday apartment at the heart of the old town

Your holiday apartment is in the Engelsgrube, which is characterised by many of the famous narrow alleyways of Lübeck and whose name does not come from angels (Engel) living here, but from the English ships that docked at the bottom end of the alley in the Middle Ages. There are plenty of payable public parking spaces near the house. As you are at the heart of the Hanseatic town, there are restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as shopping facilities within a radius of up to 500 metres awaiting your visit. Many museums, facades and buildings are witnesses to the historical significance of the town back to medieval times. There are also recreational activities and unique nature reserves in the area, to complete your leisurely and relaxing holiday.

The maisonette apartment provides ample space for four people and is characterised by comfortable furnishing for a pleasant stay, like a home away from home. The lower level comprises a big living room with a fully-equipped open kitchen to the front with a dining table, while the rear part is a cosy lounge corner. A spiral staircase leads from this room up to the attic with two separate single beds (90 x 200cm) for a third and fourth guest. The shower room is on the way to the spacious bedroom, which is furnished with a generous double bed (180 x 200cm) and two reading lamps, so you can read a good book before going to bed, or watch television as there is a wall-mounted flatscreen TV with DVBT channels and a DVD player. The bedroom window looks out over the interior courtyard. You can relax together on the sofa and two comfortable armchairs in the living room after a day trip. You go past the dining table with four chairs to the little cooking space that enables comprehensive self-catering with a dishwasher, a four-zone ceramic hob with an oven, a fridge and small electrical appliances such as a microwave, a coffee machine, a toaster and a kettle. Sehr schöne Lage
Sehr schöne und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung auf der Altstadtinsel. Sehr freundliche Begrüßung durch den Vermieter zur Schlüsselübergabe. Wohnung liegt im Dachgeschoss und ist nur über eine etwas steilere Treppe erreichbar.

Es war ein wirklich tolles Wochenende in Lübeck! Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, und ist wirklich klasse. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Eine saubere und schöne Unterkunft. Nur zu empfehlen! Allerdings sollte man mit Treppen keine Probleme haben, da es eine Dachgeschosswohnung ist.

Wir wohnten in einer Wohnung eines schönen typischen Altbaus sogar mit Gang nahe der Untertrave und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles im Stadtkern war gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Für die Kinder (10 und 12 Jahre) war das eigene kleine Reich auf dem Dachboden auch sehr beliebt.

Aufenthalt in der Lübecker Altstadt
Die Wohnung in der historischen Lübecker Altstadt war für uns genau richtig mit der Nähe zur Innenstadt, zur Trave aber auch zum Bahnhof. Wir haben die Lage in einem historischen Gebäude, das sich nach hinten zu einem schönen Hof öffnet, sehr geschätzt. Die Ausstattung ist völlig in Ordnung, die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei der netten Nachbarin, die uns den Schlüssel übergeben hat und uns geholfen hat, die Räder unterzubringen.

wunderbare Altstadtwohnung
Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in der Lübecker Altstadt, sehr bequem von Bahnhof aus zu erreichen. Für Kleinkinder oder mit Kinderwagen vermutlich etwas unpraktisch, aber als Paar oder mit größeren Kindern ist sie perfekt, und super eingerichtet noch dazu.
