First of all, Simona is a super professional and a great person.
The village is very cute and everybody that you cross on the street is very friendly. Very soon you feel as part of the community. Don't miss the Friday pizza, 50 meters from the house. You need to go there and order a few hours in advance.
The stone house has been restored with a lot of taste and comfort. I loved to sleep looking at the wood beam ceiling! The white stone kitchen sink is a special touch. The house has all the basics you need.
The private garden is very charming and has a original stone and brick chicken coop, now turned into a shed. The table and chairs are super comfortable to read or to have the meals. In the back there is a BBC.
Aquilea is a few kilometers from a excelent supermarket, a laundry, and from Luca, a beautiful historic town.
My recommendation is to drive slow and blow the horn on the curves on the way to the village, about 2 km. Otherwise, no big deal.
I love Simona's house and we wish we would've stayed there more days.
