★★About the floor plan: When you enter the main (top) floor at the back of the cabin, you will walk through a hallway and into the kitchen/dining/living areas where you will find rustic modern decor that creates an atmosphere suitable for romance as well as families. The area features an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, and a well-stocked kitchen. One king bedroom + one queen bedroom + two baths are also on the main floor. This floor is accessible with only two steps up from the outside. The king bedroom and the family room are equipped with Smart TVs (32" in the bedroom, 50” in the family room).
The finished basement (which is accessible with no steps) offers a third bedroom with two single beds, a laundry room with washer & dryer, a large open game room with plenty of books, board games, arcade basketball, and a 75” Smart television with a sound bar.
Outside, you will find areas to enjoy that include seating on two cement patios and one wooden porch/deck as well as a hot tub, fire pit, picnic table, and a gas grill. Please note that the cabin is located off a two lane country road.
★★Page County is fortunate to have high speed Internet at Skyline View. It’s fast enough to stream video and music, but it will max out with a few devices OR more than one or two screens streaming at a time.
★★You will check-in with a smart lock using a provided keypad combination. The combination is changed after every guest. The cabin is situated hillside on a 2+ acre partially wooded lot. There are neighbors in the area, including other vacation rentals. So, the property achieves a good balance of privacy and convenience with town and amenities only a few minutes away.
We use smart home technology to improve your experience. The property is equipped with a Nest thermostat, a Smart Lock, and a security system (used exclusively when the property is vacant, between guests).
★★Since the property is on a street with other cabins and homes, IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR GROUPS OF MORE THAN SIX.

★★Up to two well-behaved, fully house trained dogs may be permitted to stay. Please submit an inquiry and include pet details prior to booking. Sorry, but no cats permitted. A $35 pet fee per stay (not per dog)will apply and be billed prior to the start of the stay.
★★You'll have access to the entire cabin, the yard, parking, two patios, a deck, a hot tub, a grill, and a fire pit.
We are committed to offering a five-star quality experience, and our goal is to meet or exceed every expectation. We live in Northern Virginia, but we have people on the ground in Stanley and Luray to help you if something comes up during your stay. We enjoy our guests and are responsive communicators.
★★Luray Caverns (15 minutes), Shenandoah National Park/Skyline Drive (25 minutes to Thornton Gap entrance), Lake Arrowhead (15 minutes), Massanutten Ski Resort & Water Park (45 minutes), the Shenandoah River (varies depending upon destination, 10-25 minutes), & tons of outdoor activities (kayaking, hiking, fishing, biking, etc.) are all within a short drive! Stanley (4 minutes) and Luray (12-15 minutes) are the closest towns, offering shopping, dining, wineries, breweries, and more.
★★Located off of a two-lane country road, the property is easy to find and access. It is only one or two turns (depending on the direction from which you are coming) off of the main highway (with a couple of miles in between!)

Everything about the property exceeded expectations. The home was well decorated, modern but still cozy. EVERYTHING in the property was well thought out. Will be back and would recommend without hesitation. The only thing better than the cabin itself was the view of the mountains. Lovely cabin and view for a long weekend getaway with family! Host was great with communication. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Unpaved driveway was steep and a little challenging for 2WD cars but manageable. Host did caution us before we arrived. Overall, easy in/out, access to groceries, some shopping, and outdoor excursions. Smaller beds in downstairs bedroom so plan accordingly for all adult groups. Would not hesitate to book here again in the future!

The property was excellent. The cabin was very clean. The king bed, one of the best I have slept on. The property had everything you would need. The view was fantastic and nothing beats having your coffee in front of the fireplace. Best part was on arrival to the property it was snowing, just started off the stay perfectly. Lovely cabin but kind of far from a lot of hikes we wanted to do
The cabin is beautiful - no doubt about it. The beds are comfortable, the view is beautiful, it was quiet, and there is nothing but good things to say about the place. I would recommend some additional comfortable seating in the living room and basement - the arm chairs weren't very inviting/comfortable, but the couches were nice - just needed more of them for 4-5 people to sit comfortably. The hot tub was lovely also. The only drawback was that all the hikes we were trying to do and Rappahannock winery we wanted to go to were over an hour's drive away - so it seemed the house is on the opposite side of the action - even though the # of miles away appeared much smaller when you looked at the map - you'd have to catapult over the mountain to get there faster. We did do a couple nice hikes within 30 minutes drive away and the town of Luray is adorable, with a cute little outdoor brewery w/ live music - that was nice after a morning hike.

Shenandoah Getaway
I stayed with 2 other friends for one night after we summited Old Rag. The location was convenient. The amenities, including the hot tub, were perfect after a long hot day of hiking. The three bathrooms meant no one had to wait to shower. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to cook (besides some spices we brought ourselves). All the beds were comfortable, and the porch was a treat. The only slightly negative part of the experience was the driveway. The listing did warn us that it was a steep gravel road but my 4 door sedan had a bit of trouble with some of the deep potholes right at the beginning of the incline. Nonetheless, everything else was so amazing, we all agreed that we'd love to stay here again and make it an annual trip. Highly recommend this wonderful spot.

Spacious Cabin
The cabin was welcoming and spacious, equipped with all the amenities we needed for our stay. We enjoyed most of our time in the living room watching movies, played board games downstairs and played on the basketball hoops to pass the time. The view of the mountains from the cabin was amazing! The cabin is within close distance to places like the town of Luray which made it easy to find places to go to. Overall we really liked this cabin and would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would suggest is upgrading to a paved driveway. The hill is very steep and was challenging to ascend as I lost traction a couple of times. However, this does not outweigh the amazing comfort and feel of this cabin.

The deck called each morning to experience the view toward Skyline Dr. Excellent layout and space.
The host was proactive with communication and was open to questions. The driveway was a challenge the first time, just make sure you have momentum. The cabin was everything we hoped for and more. We appreciated the design with bedroom and bathroom layout and spacious living area. Both the deck and well-appointed kitchen were hits. We used the hot tub once and were impressed (the top was bulky to maneuver). Internet access was sometimes slow, but a minor negative. Kudos to the designer of this very comfortable getaway.
