Nice hotel but noisy trains
Hotel was located near the town center. Unfortunately, there is a main railroad terminal located just across the road, and barely 10 minutes went by without a train. The trains were electric and there were no whistles, but it was still noisy (a room on the back side of the hotel would be better). The breakfast was nice, and, unlike a typical buffet, they actually brought it to the table.

Very affordable, clean, next to train station but not loud or traffic-impacted. Super team, responding promptly. Please leave in room list of possible items to purchase for late arrival travelers while pandemic has restaurants closed. Shower curtains with sewed-in weight strings might reduce splashing onto walking tiles while shower runs. Very kind team. Thank you.

This hotel is well priced and close to the railway station and close to the old town. It is excellent valued for money. Breakfast is well stocked and plenty of options on offer. Nothing fancy, just good value and comfort.

Room was satisfactory. Spacious bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was very good. Location close to train station. Short Walk into town was pleasant. Room is stuffy. No fan nor A/C. But there is a huge window that can be opened for fresh air. May not help in hot summer months. Bed mattress was concave. Bad tempered receptionist with poor customer service skills. Shrugs when asked if my room will be cleaned. The quiet lady who checked me out was very nice and pleasant

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient. The breakfast was delicious. I was there for five days and the only thing I would improve is the internet access. I would surely recommend this place to all who visit Wittenberg.

On the way to a conference decided to stay here and see the historical pieces of the city. Hotel was clean and very close to the historical venues. Staff were helpful. Pleased with our choice of hotel. Breakfast was typical and met our needs.

Wonderful Hotel close to train station
My wife and I had a great experience staying at this hotel over a 2 day visit to Wittenberg. It was in easy walking distance to the train station and similarly well situated for easy walking access to the Wittenberg old city. More importantly, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Due to some mix-up in our train ticketing, we did not arrive at our initial ETA of 8-9 pm, but instead arrived at 12 midnight (the hotel's stipulated practice is to suspend check-in after 11 pm). Two staff were graciously waiting and quickly and efficiently checked us in (thanks to Expedia's messaging system, I had been able to get a message to the hotel that we would be late). Similarly, when we had a late train departure two evenings later, the staff were gracious in watching our luggage until we were ready to leave for the station. Also, although the kitchen was closed for the day (a Sunday), the supervisor offered to make sandwiches for us to take on the train! Cannot say enough about this hotel and its staff. Wonderful place to stay!
